Nicki Minaj Shares VERY Candid Details About Her Child's Birth

Nicki Minaj has decided to tell fans all the details of her childbirth experience three months ago, going in-depth about what it was like bringing her son into the world.

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, December 30, Minaj took plenty of questions from fans about the new child, who is still nameless, leaving the rapper to affectionately refers to him as "Papa Bear."

In sharing such a dizzying array of information, she also shared some never before heard details about her experience delivering him.

When one fan inquired if "Papa Bear" tended to kick a lot when he was in the womb, Minaj responded, explaining that he surely did, and she was very aware of it.

"He used to kick me so hard every night at the same time if I didn't get up & walk with him," the rapper replied. "He had a full personality in my tummy & knew how to get his way. It was so intriguing to me. He does the same thing now."

Water Breaking

In a subsequent post, Minaj opened up about the exact moment her water broke, saying that husband Kenneth Petty didn't exactly remain very calm.

Yes. I was butt naked," the star wrote. "Just got out the shower & I asked him to rub my back. As soon as I started scooting over to him in the bed I just felt the water start coming out. I was weirdly calm & I quietly said ‘omg, I'm about to be in labor' He was very scared & I was laughing @ him."

Minaj went on in the tweet strand to add, "I was actually in labor all night but all they did was let me sleep until I dilated far enough to push. The epidural didn't hurt either. They numbed me up real good. So I took my a** right to sleep."

When asked about her choice to bottle feed or breastfeed, Minaj replied that "Papa Bear" "had no problem breastfeeding," and that the process has been relatively simple and painless since his birth.

"He latched on in the hospital which was very surprising to me," the "Super Bass" singer admitted during the fan chat. "I was afraid maybe he wouldn't. But breast feeding is very painful. Pumping is too. Women make this stuff look way too easy. Moms r really superheroes."

She even explained the actual birthing process, detailing that she had a "natural vaginal birth w/epidural. I pushed for 2 1/2 hours. Only b/c first the epidural didn't wear off enough for me to feel myself pushing. Once I was able to feel the pain I pushed him on out."
