The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star splashed on the scene in the early 2000s, but at the time, it was on the arm of a more famous person, Paris Hilton. During the early years, the reality star apparently worked with the owner of a paparazzi firm to set up photoshoots when the pair hit the town.
The information surfaced after the BBC aired a special called, “Celebrity: A 21st-Century Story,” which included interviews with many of the industry’s top players as both woman’s careers began to explode.

During the second episode of the two-part series, reporters interviewed media guru Sheeraz Hasan, who owned one of the most prominent paparazzi firms in the business.
“I was the media machine behind Paris Hilton. “We would work with celebrities and set up those stories,” he told the BBC. Adding, “The person who was giving me the information on behalf of Paris Hilton was a young lady called Kim Kardashian, who was her assistant and stylist.”
As for how the photographers would connect with the stars, Hasan said, “So any time there were cameras needed, paparazzi, breaking news stories, Paris would basically tell Kim Kardashian to text me.”
As for Kim’s rise to fame, after spotting her on several occasions and learning of her father’s famous OJ Simpson fame — the rest is history.
As you know, Kim Kardashian started to demand attention on her own, and the photographers began shooting the reality star on a regular basis. It wasn’t long after that moment, the family sold its reality show to E! and became one of the most famous names in the world.
It should be noted, working with the paparazzi is not a new concept. Many of the biggest celebrities in the world tip the cameras off on a location when they are making an appearance. And if they don’t, in many cases their publicist is making the call for them!
Wonder how they always get the perfect shot?!
Of course, it was a smart move, Kim is now one of the highest-paid celebrities in the business, and Hasan claims part of the credit should be given to her connection to the snappers! “There are some people that hate paparazzi – those people are unemployed, they’re not relevant, they’re not working. Good luck! “I can tell you right now, the people that embrace paparazzi, they understand the business of fame,” he told BBC.
Now, the media veteran has taken the knowledge and launched ‘FAME By Sheeraz’ to teach up and coming artists, actors, and influencers the business behind being famous.
As for Kim and Paris, well you know how that story ends!
