Music artists more often have a signature look that resonates with their brand of music, and for Billie Eilish, it is her bright green hair.
However, it seems that fans are yearning for a change and are demanding one as they recently slammed her online for keeping the same hair color.
Not one to give in to bullying, the “Bad Guy” singer responded to the chatter demanding her to change. In a post by BuzzFeed on December 22, one fan commented on Eilish’s Instagram and asked her to change her hair color.
Celebrating Mental Health Stability
The Grammy Award-winner, in response, informed her fans that her consistent hair color is a result of her “not being depressed anymore,” and pleaded with them to be happy for her.
According to Buzzfeed the “Everything I Wanted” singer revealed in a separate comment that the green hair is the longest she has been with the same hair color since she was thirteen years old.
She finished by saying that she sees consistency as a symbol of growth and mental stability and that’s all that matters to her at the moment.
Billie Eilish Issues A Threat
The singer showed she has a sense of humor as she shot down her hair haters via her Instagram Story.
She jokingly asked them to stop making fun of her, or she would not release the album that she made for them.
She added that she plans to change her hair color in February after the release of her Apple TV+ documentary titled “The World’s A Little Blurry.” She also mentioned that she has an announcement to make as it will be the end of an era and predicted that her fans would miss her green hair after it’s gone.
A Pseudo Birthday Wish
On December 18, Eilish celebrated her 19th birthday, and goodwill messages from her fans and other celebrities flooded social media. The singer also got a “Happy Birthday” message from Beyonce.
However, it seems not everyone was happy with Eilish as a social media user insulted the singer with a despicable song posted on YouTube. The song has since gone viral on TikTok and is receiving serious backlash on Twitter.
The song objectified and sexualized Eilish and was created by someone called Hepatitis Bud. Fans of the singer have since called for the song to be taken off social media.
Eilish Has Reached A Milestone
To produce and sing a song for a James Bond film will be a dream come true for most artists, but the role comes with lots of expectations to live up to the legacy.
For the next movie titled, “No Time To Die,” the theme song will be made by Grammy-winner. After composing the song, the singer opened up about the mixed reaction of the public to her theme song.
She shared that she understood people’s reactions, but she tried to keep an open mind to understand the grievance of fans of the franchise.
