Chrishell Stause Subtly Responds To Concerns Over Family Holiday Gathering
American actress Chrishell Stause is finally responding to the backlash she faced after sharing photos of her family gathered for the holidays along with her boyfriend, Keo Motsepe. On Saturday, Stause made a post on Instagram announcing that she had taken her boyfriend home to introduce him to her family. She later adjusted the caption to address her fan’s concerns berating her for making travel plans during the pandemic and for gathering in a group of nine. The “Selling Sunset” star admitted that posting the photos was irresponsible and clarified that she is naturally compassionate.
Finding Solace
The 39-year-old continued that although some of her fans may not agree with her logic, she asks them to see the situation from her point of view as she explained that she was with her immediate family in the photos. They have all been tested before cooping up in the house together. She also added that the first Christmas was the first one without her mother and everyone wanted to be there for each other during the festivities. She concluded that her boyfriend made every family member so happy that she wanted to share the adorable moment and thanked everyone for their inputs.
Dancing Into Love
Dancer Motsepe also documented the festive season on his Instagram as he shared photos of himself and Stause wearing matching snow-themed onesies.
In the caption, he wrote, “Merry Christmas everyone, lots of love.”
The happy couple made their relationship public on December 3, after Motsepe shared a photo of himself kissing Stause on the cheek. Shortly after the cute Instagram photo, Stause spoke about her relationship during an Instagram Live with Kaitlyn Bristowe, the season 29 winner of “Dancing With The Stars.” Stause admitted that she was grateful for her experience on the dancing show but was aware from the start that she was not going home with the grand prize.
Age Makes No Difference
As the chat with Bristowe progressed, Stause, 39, admitted the age difference between her and her beau, 31, was the reason for a minor pause at first as she was worried. Nevertheless, she admitted that she set her worries aside as most guys her age are not what she wants.
Motsepe also joined the conversation and proclaimed that Stause is the most important thing to him. The pro dancer started his career on “Dancing With The Stars” in 2014, and was paired with actress Anne Heche and was eliminated in week four of the “ABC” show.
A Second Shot At Happily Ever After
Stause was earlier on married to estranged husband Justin Hartley, who filed for divorce in November 2019 after two years of wedded bliss. In September, the actress said to “People” that she was excited to get back into the dating pool. She revealed that she is a hopeless romantic, so she thinks falling in love again is possible. At the time, she said, “it’s 2020, maybe you could meet your person through an Instagram DM. I don’t know. Crazier things have happened!”
