Tekashi 6ix9ine has been relatively quiet on Instagram for a month now. The last time social media heard about him was in late November when he was at a Miami strip club. There, he was seen trolling boxing world champion, Gervonta Davis, by throwing money at his section. Words were exchanged but nothing physical came out of that situation.
In early November, 6ix9ine also trolled Lil Durk on Instagram following the murder of Durk’s close friend and fellow Chicago rapper, King Von.
6ix9ine Disses Lil Durk And King Von On Instagram Again
On Sunday, 6ix9ine took to his Instagram feed to bask Durk and Von again. This time, 6ix9ine is trolling Durk over his album sales for his “The Voice” project which was released on Christmas Eve. Fans had waited months for this album to come out and were satisfied with what they heard.
This project is projected to do 55,000 units in its first week as 6ix9ine thinks that’s not good enough. The Brooklyn rapper claimed that Durk used Von’s death to gain sales for The Voice. This was said under an Instagram post by DJ Akademiks.
6ix9ine Says King Von Should ‘Rest In Piss’
6ix9ine added that Durk has all the support of the music industry and isn’t being blackballed unlike him. He started to get disrespectful from that point as he said that Von should “rest in piss.”
Many started to cancel 6ix9ine on social media at that point. Others weren’t so surprised that he said these things as he’s known for trolling heavily on social media. As of now, Durk hasn’t responded to the shots fired by 6ix9ine but that could change by Monday morning.
6ix9ine Told Durk Last Month To Stop Rapping And Get A Gun After Von’s Murder
Shortly after Von‘s death last month, Durk took to his Instagram feed to post a photo tribute and then deactivated his account.
Shortly after that, 6ix9ine commented on a post by DJ Akademiks as he said “Nuski, now Von. You still rapping, go pick up a gun.” Nuski is Durk’s late cousin who was shot and killed in Chicago. In August, 6ix9ine even went to Chicago and trolled an attempt in trying to pay homage to Nuski in a video posted to Instagram.
Lil Durk Has Been One Of The Hottest Rappers Of 2020
Aside from Durk‘s beef with 6ix9ine, he has been on fire in 2020. His “Just Cause Y’all Waited 2” album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart as it contained the hit single “3 Headed Goat” feat. Polo G and Lil Baby.
He was also featured on Drake’s No. 2 hit single, “Laugh Now Cry Later.” Now, Durk’s The Voice album looks like it’s doing well as it awaits which position it will stand on the Billboard 200 chart.
