The Kardashian-Jenner clan has a unique family tradition of making customized gingerbread houses. The family matriarch Kris Jenner never misses the opportunity to make a personalized one for all her kids every year.

However, now, Khloé Kardashian has passed along the tasty tradition to the Bryant family as she gifted them one of the gingerbread houses to.

This holiday will be Vanessa Bryant’s first Christmas since her husband Kobe Bryant and 13-year-old daughter Gianna were killed in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, CA, on January 26, 2020.

Kardashian sweetly reminded Bryant that her late husband and daughter were with them, at least in sugary spirits, by putting their names on the custom gingerbread house.

In a series of short videos, Bryant gave a gingerbread house tour and thanked the media personality for her kindness.

In the video, Bryant could be heard saying, “look, it has all of our names on it,” as she showed the positioning of Kobe and Gigi’s names on the right side of the roof, while the rest of the family’s name was on the left.

A Tasty Tribute

Right beside Bryant for the gingerbread house tour was her four-year-old daughter, Bianka, who excitedly called out the names of each family member.

When they got to Capri, Bianka curiously asked who, then quickly recovered to say “My Sister!” Capri is often called Koko as a short form of her middle name Kobe, hence the confusion.

The mom of three then finished the tour with a 360-degree view of the thoughtful and tasty Christmas gift and again thanked Kardashian. At that moment, Bianka popped one of the gingerbread candies in her mouth.

Roses Are Red

Kardashian wasn’t the only one with a thoughtful gift for the Bryant family, as Jeff Leatham, a celebrity florist, personally made and delivered a Christmas tree made entirely of red roses to Bryant’s residence.

The beautiful flowery tree had green leaves and twinkling red lights with four heart-shaped gifts in rose designed boxes for Vanessa, Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.

Bryant shared a video of the rose tree on her Instagram stories on December 23 and thanked Jeff through tears of emotions over the elaborate floral structure. Although Bryant might not have her daughter and husband for the holidays, she and the family were surrounded by people who love them.

The Grinch Christmas Code

Bryant also put her gift-giving skills to fair use as she gifted her friend Kim Kardashian a pair of Nike/Kobe 6 “Grinch” sneakers.

The media mogul excitedly posted her gift on her Instagram story and thanked Bryant. The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch, Kris, also got a pair of the $180 sneakers.

In 2010, during a Christmas game between the “Los Angeles Lakers” and the “Miami Heat,” late Kobe had debuted the lime-green kicks and earned it the nickname the “Grinch.” After the basketball player’s death, “Nike” briefly suspended the shoes’ sales to celebrate Kobe’s legacy.
