It all started after the ‘Real Housewives Of Orange County’ star shared a stunning photo from the set of the ‘RHOC’ reunion show, where she appeared to have a large brown mark on her left leg. In the photo, it looks like a spray tan may have begun to run down the sides and pooled just below the knee. So many people started lighting up her Instagram asking about the possible mishap!

If you look closely, they may have a point…and many started commenting on social media about the unfortunate incident.
“What’s up with your leg?” one person asked. Another added, “Is that spray tan??? Your spray tan coming off.” Others piled on, saying, “Gob on legs but a gorgeous one ?” and “Beautiful, but don’t like the brown up your leg.”

So, Kelly wasn’t about to allow anyone to accuse her of not tanning properly, so she took to Instagram to PROVE the spot on her leg was simply a shadow!
In the video, Dodd slowly pans from the bottom of her feet all the way to the top of her body while standing next to one of her co-stars, pointing out there is nothing on her legs! “Nothing is wrong with my leg!! It was a shadow on the last photo… but thanks for paying attention to every detail!” she captioned the video.

In the video, it appears whatever was causing the issue is now gone — so many are giving her the benefit of the doubt — that this was most likely a case of bad lighting.
Fans poured into this post too, supporting the reality star with her position against the haters. “Why does it matter?!? And if she did have a mishap with self-tanner why does anyone care??? If she went out not caring neither should you!!!! Clearly, it’s a shadow. Geez!” one person wrote.
