The drama started after a preview clip was released by Bravo for next week’s episode. In the clip, Kenya is seen talking to Kandi about Porsha being arrested for a second time. Porsha was taken into custody multiple times while protesting for Breonna Taylor’s murder.
In the “RHOA” preview, Kenya asks Kandi if Porsha had been arrested again. Kandi looks at Kenya asking why she had an attitude with the question. Kenya replied, “She replied, “because at this point it feels like they are putting themselves in a position to be arrested. The implication being Porsha is doing all of it only for attention.
Porsha fired back at Kenya hours later. She said she would be praying for her costar and wished her the best. The “RHOA” star wrote, “It really is sad that this had to be addressed. Thank you @tamikadmallory my leader and my sister in the struggle for all you do first and for most!”
Porsha added, “However, I will say this I am on Rhoa and most of the show is for entertainment but when it comes to BLM let me be clear I will not be Reading anyone, I will not be shading anyone , I will not stoop down and give weight nor battle the topic of BLM with a fellow black women on TV!”
She said to Kenya, “I take it very seriously so all I will say is Kenya I will pray for you over the holidays, and maybe even I can be a beacon of light in your dark heart when it comes to anything Porsha related, or maybe I can enlighten you on the act of *Civil disobedience.
Porsha ended, “I truly hope that in next week’s episode you are not questioning nor belittling the effort of the very brave women and men all over the world who stood up and said No justice No peace and have to fight because innocent black men and women are being killed! I know we can do better than this. Let’s stay focused!”
Kenya didn’t appreciate the note and has now written a shady response. She started, “Since many are fans of RHOA, let’s watch the entire season and decide what is real or fake-not just a clip from an episode yet-to-be aired.
She added, “I’m not here to write a book/get ahead of a bad storyline/play victim/use a good cause to help a bad image. Speaking of Porsha, as a person you have always looked up to and always copies, you can’t educate me on anything but how to install a good lace front and be a freak. (no shade as YOU said before the dark heart comment). Please drive you “hate Kenya train” onto the same tracks as the underground railroad you thought existed 5 minutes ago.”
She ended, “Or when you begged producers to cut you from being bothered by Kani making progress for #BLM on your behalf. We see you for real. Oh, interesting that you ask people to #vote but excluded cast members in your voting PSA. #fake #prayforreal #watchandsee #dontcomeforme.”
Kenya finished off the letter with “Happy Holidays, Kenya.” One fan commented about Kenya, “And she has done what as far as protesting and activism? Okay Miss USA ?.”
“Porsha and Yandy clearly used their celebrity to bring light to the situation. Kenya soo damn shady for no reason, maybe she should do some good for people instead of trash talking out of hate,” pointed out another.
