Miley Cyrus is making sure she stays front-page news right until the end of 2020. The 28-year-old superstar singer, fresh from celebrating her “Plastic Hearts” album topping rock charts, is set to perform at “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” this year, with a photo shared on her Instagram alerting her 117 million followers. Miley, who has made headlines this year from her music to her relationships, was back to showcasing the skimpy streak in the snap, and it was a stunning one. Check it out below.
Scroll for the photo. It comes as Miley gears up to join stars including “WAP” rapper Megan Thee Stallion at the annual bash this year hosted by 45-year-old “Live!” face Ryan Seacrest, with the line-up also including “Jenny From The Block” singer Jennifer Lopez – it’s A-Lister central this year.
Miley’s photo showed her looking a total bombshell and announcing her “PERFORMER” status. The “Midnight Sky” singer was posing with her rock-hard abs on show, and plenty more from a frontless top and low-slung pants.
The shot, seeing Miley in a miniscule white crop top not even covering her chest, did keep the singer safe as she rocked a black bra, with space between it and pants showcasing her stomach as she flashed matching panties. The former “Hannah Montana” star sported her blonde short hair all choppy, tons of wrist and neck jewelry, plus smokey eye makeup for extra effect.
“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” will this year air Thursday December 31 at 8 p.m. Eastern Time on ABC.
Miley’s 2020 hasn’t been one she’ll forget. The star, who split from now-ex and “The Hunger Games” actor Liam Hemsworth in 2019, this year announced her subsequent relationship with Aussie Cody Simpson was over, with the music headlines also being all over as Miley both snagged two awards at this year’s VMAs and released her “Plastic Hearts” album.
The pandemic has also brought headlines for Miley, who kicked off her “BrightMinded” Instagram series just as everyone was adjusting to life at home. Scroll for more photos!
Miley’s new album, which follows 2019-released “SHE IS COMING” and includes her “Prisoner” collab with 25-year-old singer Dua Lipa isn’t, as it turns out, one that Miley planned.
“I could say I f-cking planned it and I’m a strategic f-cking genius, but I wish I was this strategic,” she told Rolling Stone, adding: “I don’t ever know what kind of record I’m trying to make when I start making it. I f-cking grew up listening to country music; we’re storytellers. Every record is storytelling.”
