An Impending Retirement For LeBron

As LeBron is nearing the big 40, the star NBA player is discussing the possibility of retirement soon.

Since joining the NBA in 2003 after being drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron has only broken records after records, showing no sign of slowing down as he ages.

However, the four-time MVP winner recognizes that his time as the face of the NBA will end at a point, and he is ready to face it. In a recent interview, LeBron touched on the subject of retirement, saying:

I know I’m on the other side of the hill, compared to the hill I was on before. I know that. But I mean, I’ve thought about it - where I’m at with it. I’m still playing at such a high level, I haven’t given it too much thought. But I’m in Year 19 and I’m not going to do another 19.

Nevertheless, LeBron noted that he would pay attention to his mind and body and see where it takes him regarding the game.
