Dua Lipa is one of the most spectacular artist of this decade. Her rise to fame started in the late 2010s but her resurgence as a modern day singer truly started after she released her latest album titled “Future Nostalgia.”
Who hasn’t heard the songs “Don’t Start Now” or “Break My Heart”? Her accomplished music career continues to gain traction as she collaborates with major artists like Miley Cyrus and DaBaby, creating memorable singles that are dominating the music charts.
‘One Kiss’ Later
The 25-year-old “One Kiss” artist reminds the viewer of a model on social media, though her personality bleeds through giving her Instagram a sense of class that only Dua could show off. Indeed, some of her latest activity online shows a really fun side of the brunette that she doesn’t always make public.
Along with several photos that show her wearing a winter snow outfit, she shared in her Insta stories (which will expire in less than 24 hours) that her car had frozen in what appears to be the start of a blizzard!
Winter Wonderland… But Frozen
Her outfit is not only festive, but somehow looks absolutely perfect for the inclement weather that has made an unexpected appearance across her Instagram. Here are just a few of the comments that Dua has received on her winter themed post that fans can’t get enough of:
“Omgggggg this lewk!??” (Commentator) “dua you’re such a mood omg” (Commentator) “This Lewk is Life. ?? I’m gagging. @lorenzoposocco ⛄️❄️??” (Commentator) “tfw you’re having snow much fun in the snow that you forget the “h” in “havin” ?” (Commentator)
Virtual Musical Releases
Dua shared during previous interviews how she wasn’t certain how to release her ‘Future Nostalgia’ album since so many people were experiencing the lockdowns and pandemic. She explained how she had to adapt with live streams and virtual performances. The fans were the real reason she even decided to release her music online.
“”In the past couple of weeks, just [with] the uncertainty of everything, I’ve been a little bit conflicted putting music out and whether it’s the right thing to do during this time because lots of people are suffering,”
‘Figuring It Out’
Dua continued by sharing what a completely different experience it is to connect with people over the web instead of in concerts:
“I’m kind of learning along the way, figuring it out. I only, just this week, did my second-ever live stream on Instagram. It’s different but it’s a fun way to really connect with the fans and the audience and I think it’s interesting to see how we are when we’re out of our comfort zone. You kind of are just stripped back: You are on your sofa, you are in your living room. You’re completely bare-faced and I think it connects with people on a different level, because it shows we’re all the same and we’re all human. There’s a lot of beauty that comes with all of that. Sometimes trying to make things like that interesting can be difficult, but I think it’s something that we all need to learn in the new age of social media.”
