Max Boyens shared his thoughts on the potential cast lineup for "Vanderpump Rules" before being fired from the series in June due to a series of racially insensitive tweets that were uncovered shortly after he was added to the show last year.

During an interview on the "#NoFilter With Zack Peter" podcast, which was taped months ago and shared on YouTube on December 11, Max said he did not feel that any of the OGs of the series should be booted from their full-time positions.

While a number of the series' stars have been fired from the show due to their own allegedly racist behavior, Max did not want to see that happened when he was asked about the idea months ago. Instead, he felt that Bravo should potentially get rid of some of the newbies.

“I don’t think any of the OGs… My experience from being on it, people want them there. They made the show. You can’t get rid of these people, no matter if you don’t like them or you do like them," he explained.

Max Boyens Felt There Were Too Many Newbies Added To 'Vanderpump Rules' At Once

"I definitely think they added too many of us [newbies]. I think the storyline was kind of all over the place," Max told Zack.

Although Max was not on board with the number of new cast members Bravo chose to add before season eight, he admitted that some newbies, including Dayna Kathan, fit into the series just fine.

"Dayna worked at TomTom and then she worked at SUR so it made sense that they asked her to be on the show," he shared.

"[Brett Caprioni], he was definitely one that could have been not there and maybe [Danica Dow]," Max continued before adding that Danica is actually "very interesting for the show."

Then, speaking of himself, Max told Zack that he should potentially be cut from the show before quickly noting that he's actually quite relevant amongst the group.

“And maybe even me [should be cut], but no, because I’m friends with… I’m with the Toms even when we’re not filming. I’m always around and I’m at the bar,” he explained.

Will There Be A 'Vanderpump Rules' Spinoff Based Out Of Las Vegas

When Max was then asked about a Vanderpump Rules" spinoff in Las Vegas, he admitted he was unsure.

"All Vegas bars are union so even if they wanted to film, I think there’s a weird licensing thing that goes with that. So that’s my little insight but hey, what do I know? Maybe they have licensing to do it and they might. But I have not heard anything. I have no idea. It’s a good question, it’s definitely a good question," he noted.

"Vanderpump Rules" season nine was expected to begin production months ago but due to the ongoing restictions in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19, filming continues to be pushed back.
