Tyler Mahoney, one of the featured stars on Discovery’s “Gold Rush” spinoff, is showing that she can hang with the best prospectors in the world by digging up a huge nugget worth thousands of dollars. 25-year-old Mahoney made a name for herself after appearing on “Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail,” when she served as the resident expert when “Gold Rush” veteran Parker Schnabel traveled to Australia in search of fortune. Tyler’s family comes from a long line of gold miners in Western Australia, and she’s proven time and time again that she knows her stuff.
Tyler Mahoney took to Instagram over the weekend and revealed more than warm summer vibes coming from Down Under when she revealed a 50-gram gold nugget she unearthed out of the famed red dirt in Western Australia.
“50 grammar I found the other day! Found about 1m down, we are using a loader! Happy Monday guys,” Tyler captioned the post to her fans.
As of this posting, 50 grams of gold is currently valued at 2941.16 U.S. Dollars or 3,903.05 in Australian Dollars.
The discovery is a great payday for Tyler, and also fantastic promotion for her prospecting business, where she offers guidance and education for up and coming gold miners looking to strike it rich in The Outback.
The young “Gold Rush” star has been regularly showcasing her finds on social media, and Tyler has been hard at work digging up all sorts of golden beauties. She recently showed off a fistful of gold nuggets that were found during a mining session.
Tyler Mahoney has been giving off some good vibes lately, especially after celebrating her 25th birthday with friends in Australia. Unlike other parts of the world, where COVID-19 continues to cause devastation and cause major lockdowns in society, Australia has loosened up its restrictions due to dwindling numbers of the virus.
For her birthday bash, Tyler was seen shining brighter than the gold she digs out of the ground while wearing a rainbow-neon crop top and mini-skirt that made her the center of attention.
