Jeannie Mai is recovering beautifully after undergoing life-saving emergency surgery just one month ago. The 41-year-old former “Dancing With The Stars” contestant showed off her progress by getting all dolled up on Sunday, just hours after she stripped down for fans during a relaxing bubble bath.
Taking to her Instagram Story on Sunday night, Jeannie Mai sported a smile while dressing her curves in a bold fashion choice. Looking pretty in pink, “The Real” co-host wore a smile after revealing her weight gain progress.
Slipping her body into a hot pink dress with a floral pattern, Jeannie Mai stunned while demonstrating how she gets ready in the AM. Sporting a face full of makeup, she highlighted her plumped-up lips with the perfect nude and decorated her ears with a pair of emerald green earrings.
Looking completely recovered after revealing she “almost died” while competing on “DWTS,” Jeannie Mai seemed back to her normal happy self while dropping the secret to her gorgeously long locks.

Leaving one of the buttons to her dress undone, the star gained major attention when she said that “she’s cute but she can be cuter” before grabbing a massive hair extension. Holding out her tongue while brushing the hairpiece, “The Talk” co-host showed her followers how easy it is to go from Plain Jane to full-on Barbie.
Flashing the final result, Jeannie Mai rocked the “100% Japanese fiber” hair in a killer high pony. It’s great to see her back to 100% after scaring fans just one month ago.
In November, Jeannie Mai posted a shot from her hospital bed while explaining the surprising illness that ended her time on the competition series. “I would never imagine ever having to write this, but I made it safely out of my emergency surgery. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Nasseri who identified my potentially life-threatening condition,” Jeannie Mai wrote from the hospital.
She revealed that what started out as just a sore throat quickly escalated to “a dangerous infection that already closed at least 60% of my airway.”
The star added that she’s “grateful to be recovering safely, I can’t lie… I am devastated by the fact that my journey with #DWTS will end this way.” Once she arrived home, Jeannie Mai collected several heartwarming messages and gifts from her friends and fans. She’s kept them up-to-date on her health journey since.
Jeannie Mai even included them in her late-night bubble bath over the weekend. Stripping down naked, the star sipped on a tall glass of red wine and took some Q&A’s from her soapy tub.
