“People are always asking me ‘what am I wearing?’” Lisa explained to host Gwen Flamberg during a video interview. “‘What lip gloss? What lipstick?’ And I thought, ‘well, I’m just going to make my own then!’”
According to Lisa, she began considering the concept of a lipstick line 15 years ago but it wasn’t until 2020 when the idea came into fruition.
Lisa Rinna Offers Three Different Lip Kits
While Lisa’s new line, Rinna Beauty, is more than just lips, the first products launched under her signature label were three different colored lip kits, which include a liner, lipstick, and a lip gloss.
“My lips have had their own career,” she said. “I’m a pioneer and why shouldn’t this happen?”
In addition to providing a pumping agent, Lisa is about more than just big lips. In fact, she’s quite good at contouring, thanks to none other than RuPaul, of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”
Lisa Rinna Learned Beauty Tips From Episodes Of “RuPaul’s Drag Race”
According to Lisa, she learned how to master the art of contouring by watching episodes of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” over the years.
“I just recently did this Vogue beauty video and as I was doing my own makeup for the Vogue video I realized I learned so much from watching [‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’],” she explained to the magazine.
“And just watching them do their own makeup! I have learned a tremendous amount from that. Like, I didn’t know you could do that!”
Lisa Rinna Claims Beauty And Baking Are Intertwined
According to Lisa, she believes that when it comes to contouring one’s face, doing so is much like the art of baking.
“You can do amazing things with contouring and baking. But putting the concealer down and powdering it like a cake,” she explained.
As fans may have noticed, Lisa has been sharing plenty of glamorous photos of herself now that she and her cast mates are in the midst of filming the 11th season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
Lisa Rinna’s Project May Be Featured On ‘RHOBH’
While fans will have to wait and see if Lisa’s beauty line is featured on the upcoming episodes of season 11, chances are the project will at least be mentioned. After all, projects of cast members have been featured in past seasons, including Kyle Richards‘ since-closed store, Kyle by Alene Too.
Lisa and her cast mates are expected to return to Bravo sometime next year for the 11th season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” but a premiere date for the new episodes has not yet been set.
