Katharine McPhee Defends Husband David Foster Amid Instagram Backlash

Katharine McPhee wants the world to know that she has the back of her best friend of 14 years turned loving husband, David Foster.

Foster left a comment about his wife on his social media post. This statement sent viewers into a frenzy, but McPhee finds their reaction rather unnecessary.

The "You May Not Kiss The Bride" actress wants people to stop being sensitive and cease misunderstanding her partner.

The drama began on Tuesday, December 28, when Foster uploaded a picture of his stunning partner on Instagram. The photo showed her reclining in the grass in an eye-catching black bikini.

The 16-time Grammy winner captioned the post "what baby!" hinting that his wife had snapped back to her pre-pregnancy figure after birthing their son, Rennie David, on February 24.

Foster's statement about "The House Bunny" star rubbed some internet users off the wrong way, and they criticized him for it.

Well, McPhee did not ask for the backlash against her man, and she came to his defense the next day.

The "Unbroken" singer wrote on Instagram, "sorry but we are not sorry," noting that she has struggled with her weight throughout her 20s and 30s.

McPhee shared a photo of herself in a red bathing suit clarifying that she lost her baby weight without any dieting or outside pressure for anyone. 

The "In My Dreams" actress expressed that she may gain her weight back, but nobody cares. She then asked people freaking out about her husband's caption to "seriously get a life."

"Stop being so offended by what people post who have zero impact on your life and move on, "McPhee requested.

The mother-of-one offered a change of perspective to people who should have thought, "'oh that's nice he thinks his wife is hot," rather than getting offended.

McPhee ended her clap back by expressing her frustrations with "this overly sensitive society," adding, "as Taylor Swift said haters gonna hate ? byyeeee."

Mcphee has a fun-filled marriage with Foster, and she appreciates his comments about her body—as noted in her recent Instagram clap-back to online critics.

In September, The Blast shared that the "I Fall In Love Too Easily" singer flirted with her husband by texting him a jaw-dropping image of herself in blue lingerie.

McPhee completed the look with a pulled-down white shirt with ruffled hair flowing on her shoulders. She uploaded a screenshot of the conversation that ensued on her Instagram Story.

The "Smash" star typed "I'm an underwear model now," and Foster gushed "Vava vavA-voom. Hot mom…" 

The record producer pulled his wife's legs by recalling that he tried calling her number a while ago, but she could not pick up because she was busy stripping. 

Foster sent a laughing emoji and buttressed how stunned he was by his gorgeous wife, writing, "You look amazing!!! Wow!!!"

McPhee continued the banter by responding to her spouse, who she married on June 28, 2019,  with “Stripping indeed” and a laughing emoji.
