It’s hard to forget how beautiful Salma Hayek is but she reminds us every week!
The iconic actress shared a gorgeous throwback on Thursday. She wore a fabulous floor-length pink gown and flashed her famous smile for her millions of fans. The photo was from the 2002 premiere of the movie, “Frida,” in which Hayek starred as the iconic surrealist Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. An icon playing an icon… it’s a good one!

The dress is unbelievably beautiful but Salma wanted her millions of fans to focus on her follicles, which she made clear with her “#tbt ? #hair” caption. Her followers were impressed by her studded hairclips but more impressed with her classic beauty.
“Thank you for pointing out where we should be looking. I may have been distracted otherwise. ?” a funny follower commented.
“I will always have a crush on you, you are the definition of a goddess. Wow,” a second love-struck fan wrote.
The fancy Los Angeles premiere was held at the LA County Museum of Art in 2002. Hayek enjoyed being the center of attention at the big-time movie event and posed with “Frida” director Julie Taymor and actress Kathy Bates while soaking it all in.
The film tells the story of Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo, and her troublesome/interesting life. Robert Ebert warned that “the film careens from one colorful event to another without respite, but sometimes it must have seemed to Frida Kahlo as if her life did, too.”
It may seem like the 54-year-old actress doesn’t age but she longed for her youth in the caption of last week’s Throwback Thursday post.
“Youth, divine treasure. ✨ Juventud, divino tesoro. ✨ #tbt” Hayek wrote alongside the pic. We love it when she does the bilingual thing!
Droves of fans assured the star that she is still stunning.
“Que cosa más guapa? (what a beautiful thing),” Penelope Cruz commented.
“BEAUTIFUL as ALWAYS???,” a supportive follower wrote. “?I am always looking forward to your posts?.”
Salma is quickly learning how to adapt to 2020 and that means attending fashion events virtually! Earlier this week, she revealed that she got to attend the Balenciaga show by playing an interactive fashion video game.
“Today I had a completely new experience attending the Fall 21 @balenciaga show. I didn’t have to dress up or put makeup on, because I got to watch it virtually from home. I did try to touch the clothes but it kept going away as I was approaching… until I hit the wall,” she wrote on social media.
