Johnny Depp Reportedly Paid Ex-Wife $1 Million To Stay Quiet About N-Word Rant

By Ryan Naumann

Johnny Depp reportedly paid over a million dollars to keep his ex-wife quiet about a recording where he repeatedly said the N-word.

The revelation was buried in the lengthy Hollywood Reporter expose on the troubled actor. The article lays out the epic downfall of the actor over the past decade. It paints a picture of a spoiled brat who was never told no. His behavior seemed to only get worse as time went on and allegedly even turned violent with his ex-wife Amber Heard.

The outlet spoke to several sources close to Johnny and learned a ton of secrets about the actor. Sources told The Hollywood Reporter, Johnny paid his first wife, Lori Anne Allison, a $1.25 million settlement in exchange for her silence. She promised not to talk about a long ranting voicemail message he left her where he "repeatedly used the N-word"

Johnny allegedly entered into a confidential deal with his ex-wife where he paid her the money and she is prohibited from talking about the incident publicly. To make sure the matter was kept under wraps, Johnny reportedly using an alias on the contract.

The revelation comes in the wake of Johnny losing his massive legal battle against the U.K. tabloid, The Sun. He sued them for labeling him a "wife-beater" when referencing Amber Heard's claims against him.

During the trial, a ton of embarrassing text conversations were exposed in court. One included Johnny texting Amber's former-agent a nasty message about his ex. He said, "[Heard is] begging for total global humiliation. She's gonna get it. I'm gonna need your texts about San Francisco brother … I'm even sorry to ask … But she sucked [Elon Musk's] crooked dick and he gave her some shitty lawyers … I have no mercy, no fear and not an ounce of emotion or what I once thought was love for this gold digging, low level, dime a dozen, mushy, pointless dangling overused flappy fish market … I'm so fucking happy she wants to fight this out!!! She will hit the wall hard!!! And I cannot wait to have this waste of a cum guzzler out of my life!!! I met fucking sublime little Russian here … Which makes me realize the time I blew on that 50 cent stripper … I wouldn't touch her with a goddam glove."

Amber Heard

In the end, the court didn't side with the actor. On November 2, the judge ruled against Johnny and noted in the order he believed Amber's abuse accusations.

The order read, "I have found that the great majority of alleged assaults of Ms. Heard by Mr. Depp have been proved to the civil standard. … I also accept that Ms. Heard's allegations have had a negative effect on her career as an actor and activist."

The ruling lead to Warner Bros immediately axing Johnny from the Fantastic Beasts franchise within days. He had already started filming on the next film but will be recast.

The article portrays Johnny as a reckless man who treated people around him poorly. One source said, "He's just never been told no for the past 35 years. That's typical in Hollywood. But I've never seen it to this extent."

At one point, Johnny's need for revenge even had him trying to mess with her film projects.

Johnny text his sister/producer Christi Dembrowksi, "I want her replaced on the WB film," a reference to Amber's role in the Warner Bros film "Aquaman." The actor had a little pull at the studio at the time and appears to have wanted to try anything to ruin Amber. It didn't work.

The actor did not return a request for comment to The Hollywood Reporter.
