It ain’t Christmas until it’s a “West Coast Christmas.” Chanel West Coast just made the 2020 holiday season her own, with the 32-year-old rapper and “Ridiculousness” star’s Monday Instagram update showing off both the hashtag and the killer Xmas look. Chanel, who has largely been promoting her October-dropped “America’s Sweetheart” album on her social media, took a well-earned break from the beats today, but the MTV face is always making sure she promotes something. This post sneakily fit the bill, and fans loved it. Check it out below.
Scroll for the photo. Chanel, who went full Santa’s little helper in red undies for Christmas 2019, stuck with the skimpy look, although it’s swimwear and a matching miniskirt this year.
The photo, studio-shot and seeing Chanel surrounded by shiny baubles and boxed gifts, delivered the “No Plans” rapper posing sultrily and looking super-foxy. Chanel, outfitted in a red-and-green plastic bikini top and matching skirt, kept the Xmas vibes up with a pom pom, plus white piping around her skirt, silver heels, and a green eyeshadow popping against a bold red lip.
Chanel, who added text reading: “WEST COAST CHRISTMAS” above her name as digital snowflakes added some festive spirit, also added a caption:
“#WestCoastChristmas out now on ALL platforms! Happy Holidays! ???❄️?❤️
LINK IN BIO!,” she wrote.
The link redirects to 19-track EP “America’s Sweetheart” – kinda promo for the track, but the post was definitely seeing West Coast shout out Christmas via the “West Coast Christmas” single. Chanel’s look today has also already appeared on her TikTok, where a fun video showed Chanel transforming from a bra-and-PJs look to that naughty Christmas elf outfit. More photos after the shot!
The Kardashians might be chilling and showing off their mammoth Christmas trees, but for Chanel, the grind goes on. The rapper, who this fall revealed producers have told her to “sing more” as they shunned her rapping abilities, herself speaks of not being “born rich…I had to go and get it” on her album, and her “Lip Service” podcast appearance re-affirmed the status quo.
“People don’t know that I’ve been rapping since I was a brokea-ss,” she told host Angela Yee. Scroll for more photos.
Speaking of why she thinks she’s endured negativity in her career, Chanel added: “I think that cause I’m on these shows that are really happy, giggling and laughing a lot. Obviously, if you are hanging around Rob Dyrdek and Steelo you are going to be laughing and happy 24/7.”
Chanel was hired as a secretary on Rob Dydrek’s “Fantasy Factory” back in 2009. In 2011, she joined “Ridiculousness,” this year celebrating the popular MTV series hitting 500 episodes. Scroll for Chanel’s super-risky church undies.
