Emma Watson is best known for playing Hermione Granger in the “Harry Potter” films.

However, she was considered leaving the franchise for good!

Director David Yates directed the final four films in the franchise.

He revealed that the studio spoke to him, saying, “Emma is not sure she wants to come back to do another Potter.”

Tom Felton noted that Watson faced unique pressures as the franchise’s solo female lead.

Ultimately, Watson revealed that “no one had to convince her to stay.”

She said the support from her costars and fans were enough to help her finish the role.

However, Watson admitted, “The fame thing had finally hit home in a big way.”

Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley, also contemplated quitting the franchise due to the pressures from fame.
