Sophie Turner is like a blonde popsicle. Like those seasonal, refreshing deserts, the 24-year-old actress has a habit of posting sparingly on her social media. In fact, the last update her Instagram received was 4 weeks ago, and that was a politically themed post.

Thankfully, it looks like the new mother (and semi-recent wife to pop star Joe Jonas) recognized how long it had been since her last update, deciding it was time for some pictures she calls ‘throwbacks’.

While several would fall under the cute category, a good majority of them are undeniably sexy.

The first picture in the post shows Sophie and Joe together during what appears to be a birthday party. Her star studded husband looks elated, while his elegant wife strikes a pose that is simply ravishing. (That look on her face says it all)

The second is almost a reversal compared to the previous shot, and shows the two enjoying time together during what appears to be Valentine’s Day.

The fourth pictures come out of nowhere with Sophie holding a lemur on her arms next to what looks like a pool.

While it hasn’t always been the cultural norm to say that a woman looks ‘sexy’ while pregnant, quite a few leading ladies have come forward (including Sophie) changing that normality into something of an outdated political point.

Indeed, the former “Game Of Thrones” actress really does look lovely in the fifth picture she included which gives the viewer a full view of her pregnant tummy, with her hubby lovingly present behind her.

Pictures like these actually went majorly viral on her account in weeks past after she put on a bikini and sat poolside showing off her pregnant state.

During an interview earlier this year, Sophie opened up about her family has had a history of depression. Her time filming wasn’t always cheery or auspicious in her mind, though her marriage to Joe really helped her overcome this. As she grew older, she learned to push on and not listen to thoughts, especially suicidal ones. 

“Since I was really young, we’ve had a whole mental health thing in my family,” said Turner, 22. “My immediate family, and myself, as well. I’ve suffered with depression for about five or six years now.”

“It’s weird. I say I wasn’t very depressed when I was younger, but I used to think about suicide a lot when I was younger,” she continued. “I don’t know why though. Maybe it’s just a weird fascination I used to have, but yeah, I used to think about it. I don’t think I ever would have gone through with it.”
