Legendary Houston rapper, Slim Thug, has had his eyes on Megan Thee Stallion for months. The two are both from Houston and Slim is 15 years older than Megan as he is 40-years-old.
He recently took to Instagram to express his interest in Megan again as this time, he slid into the comments section of one of her posts. This was where Megan said she can’t wait to head back home to Houston for the holidays.
Slim Invites Megan To His Houston Home
Slim was very direct in his comment as he said “My home is your home.” A smiley face and heart eye emojis were also included.
His comment has since totaled over 5,100 likes as Instagram users were not surprised that Slim made an appearance. Others supported his efforts in trying to go date Megan.
To this day though, Megan still hasn’t publicly answered whether or not she will entertain the thought of giving him a chance. Hopefully, we will see before 2020 ends.
Slim Released ‘Thug Life’ Album This Year
Slim’s popularity was at its highest back in the 2000s. Since then, he has been off the radar but has shown consistency. Back in the spring, he put out his 10-track “Thug Life” album. This also included appearances from fellow Houston legends Z-Ro and Scarface.
Slim’s most successful album was his debut, “Already Platinum,” back in 2005. This went on to be certified gold and was led by hits such as “Like A Boss” and “3 Kings” feat. T.I. and Bun B. The album peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Megan Thee Stallion’s Debut Album ‘Good News’ Has Been One Of The Hottest Projects Out
Megan is also bringing wins to Houston as she put out her debut studio album, “Good News,” on November 13. This was headlined by the singles “Savage” remix, “Girls In The Hood,” and “Don’t Stop” feat. Young Thug. “Body” is now starting to become the most popular song from this project at this point, though.
Good News went on to debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. Another record that has been making noise is “Shots Fired,” where she subliminally dissed Tory Lanez and her ex-best friend, Kelsey Nicole.
Megan Is Nominated For Four GRAMMYs
Megan’s momentum hasn’t slowed down at all since the release of Good News as last week, it was announced that she was nominated for four awards at the upcoming 2021 GRAMMYs next month. These categories are Best Rap Song, Best New Artist, Best Record, and Best Rap Performance. The song that is part of these categories is the Savage remix.
In the Best New Artist category, Megan is competing against Ingrid Andress, Phoebe Bridgers, Chika, Noah Cyrus, D Smoke, Doja Cat, and Kaytranada.
