Chrissy Teigen pens a sweet birthday tribute for her husband!
The “Lip Sync Battle” alum, 36, took to her Instagram account on Tuesday to share a series of stunning photos of herself and her husband, John Legend, who just turned 43. She compiled a lovely slideshow and added a heartfelt message for her man.
Pouring Her Heart Out
Teigen rocked a white dress adorned with beads, featuring a low back and long sleeves. The singer, meanwhile, looked dashing in a classic black tux. The couple appeared to be in an event, having fun with the photo booth.
“happy birthday to my forever,” Teigen wrote in the caption. “I am lucky to have known you 16(!!) of your 43 years and I still wish it were more. I picked the most kind hearted man, the best father, and most talented human being around, which is truly a testament to me! Anyhoo i love you more than a caption could capture. Legend and Teigen are one of the couples in Hollywood that have surpassed trials together. They have been married for seven years, and they are still very much in love.
“We actually really love and respect and admire each other. I think that’s the foundation of who we are as a couple and we actually enjoy each other’s company,” Legend told Today.
He added, “My wife makes me laugh all the time. I make her laugh occasionally. Everyone knows she’s funnier than I am.”
How They Met
The model met the musician on the set of his music video for “Stereo” in 2006. The pair hooked up when the video was finished.
“We did the music video, we were together for like 12 hours,” Teigen said in an interview.
She continued, “We spent the entire day together, me in my underwear and him in a full suit, and I went to go say goodbye to him, to his hotel and we didn’t ever say goodbye that night.”
