Tristan Thompson Becomes A U.S. Citizen

"I came to the U.S. on a student visa and have always had big dreams. I'm now truly living the American dream," the athlete wrote.

Tristan moved to the U.S. back in 2009 to attend the University of Texas while on a student visa. Prior to being elected for the NBA draft, he played for the university for around a year.

Talk in the sports world may center around the former Cleveland Cavaliers player securing his $19 million deal, but over in the gossip world, it's all about 36-year-old baby mama Khloe Kardashian, with whom Tristan shares 2-year-old True Thompson. Tristan, plagued by cheating scandals and notably cheating on Khloe just days before she welcomed True in 2018 and one year later with model Jordyn Woods, seems to be winning all-around.

According to UsWeekly, Khloe is all set to take Thompson back and start up a new life with him in Boston. Scroll for more photos.

A source reporting to the media outlet stated: "Khloé and Tristan are going to be fine. They will be living together in Boston and L.A. Tristan has really turned his behaviors around is focusing on Khloé and their daughter True."

"All of Khloe's friends really like Tristan. Even though what he did was horrible, they know Tristan is a good guy and Khloé is very dedicated to making their relationship work," they added.

The report comes just days after Khloe unfollowed Tristan in the wake of 46-year-old reality star Larsa Pippen's relationship reveal.

It's getting very heated. Former BFF to Kim Kardashian, Larsa Pippen, is fresh from her Hollywood Raw podcast appearance, where an admission to a 2015 relationship with rapper Future whacked on a 2.0 as Larsa confessed she and Tristan had seen one another, this prior to Khloe meeting him, though.

"I was kinda seeing Tristan before Khloe. Before Khloe or any of them knew he existed," Larsa revealed. "I was seeing him, I had him come to LA," Larsa revealed:

"I brought him to a party Kim had. I introduced him to all of them. Then a week later, or 10 days later, he started seeing Khloe. Which is fine, I don't even care. It's whatever."
