Draya Michele offered clarifcation for “the freaks” today – when she said “bust” out of this, she meant her eye-popping strapless corset. The 35-year-old Mint Swim founder and reality star appeared decidedly stuffed as she patted her belly while on her couch over Thanksgiving 2020, with a video showing the “Basketball Wives LA” alum’s signature curves and trademark sense of humor. Draya’s 8.2 million Instagram followers also saw the star reveal she’s “proud” of herself this year. Check it all out below.
Scroll for the corset action. Draya, who revealed getting “75%” of her Thanksgiving prep in ahead of time this year, spoke in selfie mode and confirming she’d proud of herself, but male fans were likely paying attention to the video seeing Draya arching her back over her couch and near-exploding out of a chic black corset.
Draya, sucking in her belly and patting it, then announced she’d be “busting” out, returning to confirm she meant the corset. And the food was off the hook.
Draya, who is fresh from a sell-out collab with jewelry brand 8 Other Reasons, also filmed her Thanksgiving food, saying: “This sh-t is FIRE” as roasting trays showed the Fashion Nova partner’s culinary skills.
“First time making peach cobbler,” Draya captioned a tray of it, adding: “I’m really proud. On the first try.” Also sharing stuffing, the mom of two said she knows people “hate” it, but she digs it. In fact, fans even saw Draya in such a good mood, she was eyeing up karaoke songs.
Draya, who this year made headlines for tipping a waiter more because he was black, has been urging fans to support black-owned businesses. Of course, a little self-promo never goes amiss, with Draya recently egging followers on to shop her own, 2011-founded Mint Swim brand.
“@mintswimusa … a real sale. #buyblack, Draya wrote as her Kardashian-adored swimwear brand offers 60% off for Black Friday. Earlier this year, 40-year-old reality face Kim Kardashian donned a bubblegum-pink bikini from Draya’s popular swimwear line.

Draya remains best-known for starring on “Basketball Wives LA,” but the star has her own gig coming. 10-part docu-series “Doses of Draya” will air on streaming network Zeus, with a statement from Draya confirming she’s pumped.
“I’ve been on a pretty incredible journey over the past decade, and I’m grateful to my fans who have been with me through the ups and downs,”she said.
“As a woman of color, I couldn’t be more excited to be working with Zeus, a Black-owned streaming service, to share my story, and to let people into my daily life in a way I never really have before.”
