Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin is turning her Instagram into the biggest holiday card ever – what you get when you’re looking at someone in snowy Montana. The 31-year-old former athlete and five-time Olympic medalist is fresh from touching down in Big Sky Country, with her Wednesday stories following up from a stunning snowy post with dog Harley. Nastia braved freezing temperatures yesterday for snaps her 1 million followers are still gushing over, but it’s fast-moving with this beauty. Check out the latest wet-haired look below.
Scroll for the latest action. Nastia, who retired aged just 22 in 2012 but only today back-flipped across a beam to showcase her skill-set is one for life, is chillaxing right now. The Moscow-born star’s stories today came from a snowy Montana cabin where a roaring fire has been upping the #HolidayVibe, with Nastia appearing quickly and in selfie mode.
Fans didn’t see Liukin for long, but they caught her fresh out the shower, with matted wet blonde hair, a snuggly athleisurewear wardrobe, and the “announcement.”
Nastia promised fans an announcement on her IG, and they more than got it. A photo of Nastia back in 2008 and in her Olympic pink leotard came with an up-to-date swipe-right, with the Volition partner showcasing her Gold Medal skills and writing:
“It is with so much honor and excitement that I announce my partnership with @spiethamerica ?? Gymnastics will forever be my number one passion, and I continue to carry the love I have for the sport into many aspects of my life. “
Nastia, calling the partnership “another extension of my love for gymnastics,” has been more than proving that love. Earlier this month, the blonde stunned her followers by traversing a blue-floored gym while completely on her hands and supporting that steely strong body as she walked on them.
It isn’t just back flips and stretching for this fitness junkie, though. November has brought Nastia in fierce boxing mode, with a promo for the Bright Fitness App seeing her admit her uppercut was “pretty damn good.”
Nastia’s boxing post, a paid promo, came captioned with an admission as she wrote: “I almost stopped boxing because I couldn’t get back into the gym, but where there’s a will, there’s a way.”
In 2016, Nastia spoke with The Cut, revealing that retiring at 22 was mega tough. Nastia confessed to weight gain and feeling out-of-place, saying she felt “lost” in regular gyms. The Muse Collection CEO has since found her feet. She’s got a $55 Celery Green Cream, a startup, plenty of brands snapping her up, and now a perfect snowy vacation for Thanksgiving.
