One of the stars of "Gold Rush" had a fitting victory romp after pulling a mighty fine gold nugget out of the ground for a lucrative payday, and luckily she was in a warmer part of the world than the frigid temperatures being served up in Alaska. Tyler Mahoney, one of the newest stars on the Discovery gold mining show, lives in Western Australia and became a big hit during the recent "GR" spinoff series, titled "Gold Rush: Parker's Trail."
Tyler Mahoney was a huge hit on "Gold Rush: Parker's Trail," when Parker Schnabel headed Down Under to Western Australia and learned about mining gold in the vast terrains of the Outback. Tyler quickly asserted herself as a prospecting expert, which includes a long lineage of prospectors around Australia. She helped Parker explore Western Australia and tap into some abandoned gold mines that ended up proving to be very lucrative for the "Gold Rush" star and led to Parker deciding to purchase some land of his own in Australia.
Tyler Mahoney continues to be on the hunt for gold, even when the Discovery cameras aren't rolling, and she recently showed off an impressive find when she scored a 20-gram gold nugget!
"Nice 20 grammar I found today!" 23-year-old Mahoney declared while showing off the nugget, which was still coated in some of Western Australia's well-known red soil.
With the current gold market, Mahoney's nugget would currently pay out a little over $1,100 ... not a bad day at the office.
Clearly in the celebrating mood, the star took off to the popular tourist town, Scarborough in Western Australia for some relaxing in the sun.
Wearing a thong animal-print bikini, Tyler Mahoney didn't hold back by flaunting her trim figure on the balcony of her hotel suite.
"Enjoyable," she subtly captioned her Instagram shot.
Mahoney's photo racked up thousands of likes as fans praised the star for her sizzling shots.
"Love the bathing suit Tyler. You're looking extremely beautiful as always. Stay safe, healthy, happy and enjoy life my friend. Much Love," one fan wrote on Mahoney's Instagram comments.
"You are looking absolutely stunning and what a amazing view," another fan declared.
The gold nugget was definitely a good find for Tyler Mahoney, but it wasn't even the biggest one she's unearthed in recent weeks.
Back in September, Mahoney revealed that she and her crew actually dug up a 58-gram gold nugget!
The chunk of gold, worth over $3,400 was a huge score for the "Gold Rush" star, and she detailed how arduous the process can be while waiting for the big payday.
"The 58grammar we found the other day. Only piece this week besides some little ones. That’s the gold game though, baked beans or lobster."
Looks like she's going to be enjoying some more lobster.
