Since its release on December 17, “Spider-Man: No Way Home” has been making waves.

The superhero movie has been quite the success smashing box office records.

On the opening night alone, the Marvel movie racked in $121.5 million.

“Spider-Man: No Way Home” has the title of second-biggest opening day of all time after “Avengers: Endgame.”

Alongside these smashed records come speculations of an Oscar nod.

Despite the Oscars’ tradition of excluding superhero movies, “Spider-Man” hopes to be an exception.

Main actor, Tom Holland, alongside creators of the movie, believe this should be the case.

In case this happens, Holland is also quite open to hosting the prestigious award ceremony.
