Lakers Co-Owner Jesse Buss Sells LA Mansion Located Next To LeBron James

The Los Angeles Lakers are one of the most prestigious sports teams in the world, and have plenty of wealthy owners within their organization. This includes Jesse Buss, who is one of the co-owners.

Buss is leaving one of huge LA mansions though, as he has now sold it for a very hefty price. This property is also located next to one of the Lakers' star players.

According to TMZ Sports, Buss has sold this property for $10.7 million. He initially bought this home in 2018, and ended up putting it on the market two months ago. It is also reportedly next to LeBron James' home.

Buss' home is 6,500 square feet and contains six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Amenities included are a home theater, a yoga room, and an infinity pool which has scenic views next to it. There are also a gym, an illuminated bar, and a temperature-controlled wine cellar.

As of now, it's unclear who purchased the property, but they will definitely have a great time seeing LeBron next door.

After 23 years, the Lakers' home arena, Staples Center, changed their name. This is now Crypto.com Arena. Many fans online have since expressed their displeasure at the new name, as they view Staples Center as one of the most iconic venues in the NBA. Cypto.com Arena was officially put into use, on the Lakers' Christmas Day game vs the Brooklyn Nets.

While Jesse Buss is $10 million richer, his Lakers haven't been doing so well for the 2021-22 season. They currently stand at 16-18, and are seventh in the Western Conference.

LeBron has been putting the team on his back as Anthony Davis has been battling injuries, and Russell Westbrook hasn't been shooting the basketball very well lately. LA has lost five games in a row, with their latest loss coming on Christmas Day, to the short-handed Brooklyn Nets. That Brooklyn team was without Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

On Christmas Eve, LeBron also had Instagram and Twitter in a frenzy. This was due to a popular Spider-Man meme that he posted, to his IG feed.

This meme featured three Spider-Men all pointing at each other, with the flu, cold, and COVID-19 all looking at each other. This gave the impression that the Lakers star believes all of these sicknesses are simply the same.

This triggered a lot of fans online, as they believe that COVID is a much different situation, despite it having many of the symptoms of the flu and cold. This comes as LeBron bashed the NBAs COVID health and safety protocols, as many players are being placed in these. The frustration here comes from fully healthy and fully vaccinated players having to go through this, over the past month.
