Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin has been enjoying her iced matcha latte while making everyone jealous. The five-time Olympic medalist’s Wednesday Instagram update showed her 1 million followers that the weather in Dallas, TX is still “Hot Girl Summer” – Nastia’s caption spoke of pretending it’s “fall,” but it’s way too sunny out there to be in bundled-up sweaters. Nastia posted two photos showing her stunning sense of style and cheese-grater abs, with the skimpy finish showing off the Russian-born star’s killer physique. Check it out below.
Scroll for the photos. They come as Nastia makes headlines for kicking off her YouTube channel and warning fans they won’t get all the “tea.”
There might be no tea, but there was plenty of coffee yesterday as Nastia opened her post drenched in sunlight and by a wall quote reading: “Shoot for the moon, darling.” The 2008 all-around Olympic champion looked gorgeous, wearing a burned yellow rib-knit crop top, acid-wash jeans, plus a plaid shirt working its way off her.
Nastia, sun-kissed from behind shades, then played the full swipe-right Instagram game. Her next photo, showing terrace table setting with two iced matcha lattes, brought the shirt back in and way more of a fall feel – precisely what the caption was talking about.
“Desperately trying to pretend it’s fall in Dallas but,” Nastia wrote, then adding a hot and sweaty emoji.
Quick to leave a like was 23-year-old gymnastics superstar Simone Biles, and the comments section got busy, too. “I’d give anything for [sweaty emoji] versus [freezing emoji] here in NY,” one fan wrote.
Scroll for Nastia’s recent reminder that retiring aged just 22 back in 2012 hasn’t compromised her insane skill-set. Liukin, whose career now sees her as both a beauty blogger and entrepreneur – she retails a $55 Celery Green Cream with Volition – also brings her as a successful influencer. She’s brought “bubble baths back in 2020” for skincare brand Olay, and more recently slipped on her boxing gloves as part of her promo role with Bright Fitness App.

Nastia’s days on the beam ended nearly ten years ago, but the Pilates lover isn’t done keeping in tip-top shape.
“I felt so lost for a good year. I gained probably 10 to 20 pounds, because when you stop doing something and just go cold turkey your body doesn’t even know what to do,” she told The Cut in 2016, adding that she’d finally found her “rhythm” with time.
Nastia is also fresh from an October anorexia clap-back. A fan DM asking her how she feels about “promoting borderline anorexia looking bodies” did not go down well with the gymnast.
