There is trouble in paradise for the "Sister Wives" as the pandemic brings up new challenges for the family members.

Amid suspicions among the wives and divorce, the tensions among Kody Brown and his partners have reached a new peak.

Robyn Brown may not have personal issues with Kody, but his issues with his other family members are rippling into their romance.

Roby Brown Details Challenges of Being In a Plural Family

The December 25 episode of TLC's "Sister Wives" was one for the books as Robyn got candid about how the problems in Kody's other marriages affect her, PEOPLE reported.

The four wives and Kody joined one another at Meri's house to decide how the family could meet according to COVID-19 guidelines.

The meeting began with Robyn asking other family members to cease the accusations that she is responsible for the strict COVID-19 rules enforced by Kody.

During a tearful confessional, Robyn expressed how ridiculous it was for her family to believe she was to blame for the tough rules.

The 43-year-old said her husband is not one to "have a wife come in and tell him what to do." Although many have tried to be, Kody also previously yelled at the cameras that he has no head wife.

Janelle considers some of Kody's rules extreme and mentioned she would not be home for Thanksgiving. Christine noted she might be away too.

All these difficulties made Robyn confess that the foundation her family was built on 'is crumbling." Robyn and Meri also had a teary conversation after the meeting. 

Robyn admitted their husband's rules are stringent, but they can now hang around each other on the bright side.

Christine Brown Speaks On Divorce From Kody

Christine and Kody have gone their separate ways after 25 years together. The ex-wife took to social media to explain the sudden split.

The Blast revealed that Christine updated Instagram that she and her former husband grew apart and made the "difficult decision to leave."

The loving mother said they would remain a strong presence in each other's life while they parent their beautiful children and support their wonderful family.

On Kody's Instagram, he claimed Christine decided to leave, and the news was met with sadness. He respects and admires her, and they remain committed parents. 

Some fans commented that Christine deserved so much better than Kody. Another noted that she "made the right decision" by leaving.

The "Sister Wives" Family Tree Explained

The "Sister Wives" show covers the polygamous life of Kody Brown and his spouses related to the Apostolic United Brethren (AUB) sect of fundamentalist Mormonism. 

Kody has a whopping 18 children and two grandchildren, but the relationship between the family members is a twisted web.

The Blast shared that Kody's second wife, Janelle, was married to his first wife, Meri's brother, for two years with no children.

Janelle's mom, Sheryl Brown, was one of Kody's father's wives before he passed in 2013. Janelle's daughter Maddie married Caleb Brush, Kody's sister-in-law's brother.

Robyn was once married to David Jessop, Christine's cousin, and Kody's third cousin. Robyn's grandfather was also a member of the Allred family.
