Ryan Seacrest is adding to his resumé amid concerns about his morning co-host Kelly Ripa‘s “extreme” behavior. After exiting the “LIVE With Kelly and Ryan” stage on Friday, November 13, the 45-year-old star showed that his responsibilities don’t stop once production quits rolling. Ryan Seacrest has been the face of “American Idol” since 2002 and joined Kelly Ripa on her morning talk show in 2017 after Michael Strahan‘s departure, but now he’s adding even more jobs to his extensive list.
Besides turning on his charm alongside his “LIVE” host every single morning, Ryan Seacrest is also the host of Los Angeles’ popular KIIS-FM radio show, “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” and now, he’s slapping his face on another project just in time to turn attention away from concerns over Kelly Ripa.
As The Blast reported, longtime “LIVE” viewers began trolling the show’s Instagram account this week with some drawing attention to Kelly Ripa’s alleged “extreme” and “over the top” behavior.
In a series of clips posted to the “LIVE” social media account, commenters went in on the longtime television personality with one voicing she’s been extra “hyper” and another saying Kelly Ripa’s behavior made the popular morning show “uncomfortable” to watch.
In one photo showing Kelly Ripa exposing her legs in a teeny tiny dress, a fan asked, “Omg … what has been wrong with Kelly the last couple of days, adding that she’s been acting “over the top” before listing examples.
In another post showing the “LIVE” duo talking about Ryan Seacrest’s childhood lunches, someone commented that Kelly Ripa was “really extreme on the show this morning.” The viewer said “it was uncomfortable to watch,” and another watcher agreed. “It did seem odd – loud tension,” they replied.
Kelly Ripa has yet to address her “LIVE” fans’ concerns but her co-host isn’t putting all his eggs in one basket. Hours after Ripa’s “extreme” behavior made headlines, Ryan Seacrest announced his latest venture.
Taking to his social media on Friday afternoon, the star began spamming his followers with Christmas content and he had a good reason. Ryan Seacrest will be the host of ABC‘s “The Disney Holiday Singalong” which will feature performances from singers like Katy Perry, Michael Bublé, BTS, and more.
Wearing a Mickey Mouse Christmas sweater with decorations all around him, Ryan Seacrest made the exciting announcement. “Found the announcement for our #DisneyHolidaySingalong this a.m.,” he wrote. ABC’s “The Disney Holiday Singalong” will air on Nov. 30 at 8 PM.
