Chanel West Coast Swings Hip In Bikini With Angel Wings

By Rebecca Cukier

Chanel West Coast is getting asked if she's a Victoria's Secret Angel. The 32-year-old rapper and "Ridiculousness" star absolutely wasn't promoting the lingerie giant as she posed in a white bikini, perspex glitter heels, and giant angel wings last night, with her Instagram post coming as promo for the "Heaven's Calling" track forming part of new 19-song album "America's Sweetheart." Chanel, who dropped her pandemic-penned EP in October, has been ramping up promo for her latest beats. Check out the jaw-dropping snap below.

Scroll for the photo. Chanel, who first injected music into her quarantine with her now-viral "Corona Rap," now has a full album including the hit "No Plans," with Friday bringing West Coast's 3.5 million followers with plenty to look at and a prompt to watch the "Heaven's Calling" video.

The photo showed the rapper flaunting her stunning bikini body outdoors and backed by both blue skies and white-painted wire cage. Chanel, seen in a tiny white bikini, sported oversized fluffy angel wings and plenty of sass as she swung a hip and glanced sideways.

Gets Asked How Tall She Is

Keep scrolling for more photos. Chanel, joking in 2020 that she's 12 inches taller in photos, now sees fans prompting her for her height.

"How tall are you?" a fan asked, with Chanel happy to oblige with her response: "5'3 with long legs lol," the rapper wrote. Her caption, meanwhile, stuck to the promo agenda: "#HeavensCalling," she said, adding: "LINK IN BIO."

Over 100,000 likes were left overnight. Likely a relief for the rapper who made February headlines for ranting she doesn't get enough of them.

Why It's Called 'America's Sweetheart'

Chanel has been opening up on why she decided to call her album "America's Sweetheart." The former "Fantas Factory" face explained:

"I called this album America’s Sweetheart because it’s an oxymoron and contradicts the perception that many have of me," adding: "I have flaws. I've made mistakes. I’ve benefitted from white privilege and I’ve had second chances in life that, unfortunately, many people have not received. "

Chanel has even gone the whole hog with the EP, dropping "America's Sweetheart" merch via her LOL Cartel clothing line. Scroll for more photos.

Producers Told Her To 'Sing' More

Chanel has also been opening up on the adversity she's faced in the hip-hop industry. The star appeared in Angela Yee's "Lip Service" podcast recently, admitting that producers had told her to rap less and "sing more."

"I think that a lot of people were confused, like, 'why is this girl a rapper', what's your struggle, where do you come from," she explained. "People don't know that I've been rapping since I was a brokea--," she said. Chanel was signed to Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment label back in 2012.
