Britney Spears Brings Weekend Energy In Unbuttoned Knotted Shirt

Scroll for the photos. They come after a rare and video-delivered clap-back this month as the "Toxic" singer made it clear she's had enough of conspiracy theories suggesting 68-year-old dad Jamie Spears controlling her finances have rendered her unsafe.

The shots, simple and low-key, showed the Grammy winner flaunting her rock-hard abs and cleavage in a white shirt worn cropped and with a knotted finish – grass and sunshine in the background placed Spears in her L.A. home as she gazed deep into the camera, offering three red lip emoji as her caption.

Britney, who had already called herself "authentic" in July, has now delivered a video message to her fans confirming that she is happy and well. Likewise, that she's paying attention to those comments, this year seeing #FreeBritney deem the singer's Instagram a setup.

"Hi, so I know that there have been a lot of comments, and a lot of people saying a lot of different things about me," Britney began.

"But I just want to let you guys know that I am fine. I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life. And I'm sending all of you guys a lot of prayers, wishes and a lot of love," she added.

Shortly before posting today's backyard snaps, Britney updated with a whimsical post showing a tiled bathroom and drawn bath complete with lit candles, flowers, and blue-and-pink-swirled bath soaps. A caption read:

"🛀 🛁🛀🏼🛀🏼🛁🚿🚿🚿the first thing I thought when I saw this was .... “I wonder if the flowers were staged just for this pic ...... or is this what this person’s bathroom really looks like” 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 !!!!!! Aren’t you curious 🤔😜 ????!!!!!"

Fans were quick to deem the update posted by someone else, with some even accusing personal trainer boyfriend Sam Asghari of delivering the snap. More after the photo.

Britney has sparked increasing concern through 2020 as her Instagram showed repetitive photos and videos. They kicked off showing the singer shot against red, yellow, or white walls, then including her backyard as summer months arrived. The singer, joking she'd worn the "same top 17 times," slammed suggestions her posts are old, confirming none are more than "a month" old.

As to the floral crowns and backyard snaps, Britney confirmed these to part of photography project "Project Rose," then warning fans to expect plenty more.
