Salma Hayek Reveals 'Eternals' Trailer After Marvel Movie Delay

"Eternals" was originally scheduled for a November 6 release, but after the toll COVID-19 has taken on the movie industry, has joined many other films in getting pushed back until next year. For "Eternals," it's been shelved until Novemb er 2021, and the stars and fans alike are disappointed.

"If we had not had the COVID-19 epidemic, Eternals would have hit the cinemas today," Hayek, who stars as Ajak in the movie, lamented on Instagram.

The actress also recognized that minimal teases have come out about the highly-anticipated film, which will be the next installment in the Marvel universe.

In lieu of not being able to share much about the actual film, Hayek is offering a consolation prize.

"Since I cannot yet share with you the trailer of the movie, I will share with you pictures of my trailer while shooting the movie."

The "From Dusk Til Dawn" star added that, "I decorated it myself."

Tapping into her Mexican-American heritage, Hayek revealed a beautifully decorated trailer that gave off major Southwestern vibes and looked like a wonderful place to kick up your feet after a long day of being a superhero.

The majority of shooting for Marvel Studio's "Eternals" went down in London at the famed Pinwewood Studios, as well as the Canary Islands. However, Hayek's little getaway looked like it was plucked out of the American heartland with rugs, plants and wall art that made Hayek feel right at home.

She also made sure to include a special energy section dedicated to her crystal collection, as well as some gorgeous succulents. Hayek, who starred alongside Angelina Jolie in "Eternals," did not reveal if she and Angie would hang out in her lavish trailer ... but we're going to assume they did!

Marvel's "Eternals" will be introducing a new set of villains in the MCU, as well as tapping into some superheroes who are making their movie debuts after being featured in the comics for years. In an official synopsis for the movie, Marvel has explained:

"The Eternals features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years."

The film will follow the events immediately after, "Avengers: Endgame," when an "unexpected tragedy forces [the Eternals] out of the shadows to reunite against mankind's most ancient enemy, The Deviants."

Other stars include Angelina Jolie, Kit Harington, and an incredibly shredded Kumail Nanjiani.
