‘Flip Or Flop’ star Christina El Moussa is slamming online trolls who are accusing the reality star of being an absentee mother after she stopped posting updates on social media about her life with her children.
The reality star just shared a lengthy message where she goes off on people who have been shaming her for her mothering or ‘choosing sides’ when it comes to the recent divorce with her husband, Ant Anstead.
Christina says part of the reason she has slowed down with the Instagram posts is she refuses to get pulled into a “contest of who’s a better parent” by posting images and stories on social media.
See Her Emotional Plea…
“This year has been incredibly isolating. Activities like church, travel, dinner, movies, sports- canceled. No longer seeing my friends smiling faces on set (all covered by masks) it all feels like shit. So many changes for so many people. So despite what you see on Instagram, most people are struggling. When I get told “you must be an absent mother because you are not with your kids” – smh wake up people. I hardly post anymore … and I def do not want to post my kids every freaking day to make it a contest of who’s a better parent ??♀️ F that,” she began.
Keep Scrolling For Her Message…
She continued, “This doesn’t mean I’m not with my kids – it means the opposite – I am with them- I’m present. So stop parent shaming people, stop choosing sides when there is no side to choose. My point being – when you see stuff on here take it all with a grain of salt. There is a whole lot of Filters and fake smiles. I’ve been guilty of faking it too. We are all struggling – some of us are just better at “masking” it.”
As we reported, Christian filed for divorce from husband Ant Anstead just a few years after the couple got together — and it’s unclear if there are any custody or financial issues in the split.
It’s clear the reality star has been feeling the heat from followers and fans about what she chooses to post on IG, and she decided to address the whole thing.
‘Flip or Flop’ fans flooded her IG account to send messages of support, including, “No need to explain yourself momma!! You’re a hardworking independent woman who won’t settle for mediocrity!! You’re the best role model your children can possibly have. Haters gonna hate. Don’t let those haters steal your light or your energy. You do you!! Cause you’re doing a damn good job!!!”
Another added, “Don’t let the haters or anyone ruin your day! Definitely not worth your time! We all know your a great mom who is working hard for them ❤️.”
At this point, Ant Anstead has not responded to the divorce filing.
