Former Minnesota police officer Kim Potter has been found guilty.

She was convicted of first degree manslaughter.

She was also convicted of second degree manslaughter, culpable manslaughter.

The judge and the defense attorney are still determining sentencing.

Potter shot and killed Daunte Wright, 20, at a traffic stop in April.

She shot him with her gun but she meant to user her taser.

The jury started their deliberations on Monday and reached a decision on Thursday.

Potter took the stand last Friday in a highly debated trial.

She said that was “sorry” for the fatal shooting.
