'RHOBH' Star Erika Jayne Files For Divorce From Husband Tom Girardi

'RHOBH' star Erika Jayne has just filed for divorce from her husband and mega-lawyer Tom Girardi.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, the 'Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills' star filed for dissolution of marriage today in Los Angeles County Courts. The filing comes as a complete shock to fans of the reality show after Jayne rarely discusses any issues with her marriage to the powerhouse attorney.

The now ex-couple does not have any children together, but Erika does have one adult child from a previous relationship. In other words, there will be no child support issues in this case. As for spousal support, we are guessing these two have an ironclad prenuptial agreement (he is a lawyer) and it will outline what money, if any, will change hands.

At this point, it's unclear what split up the couple but the divorce documents do not give much insight either.

Erika issued a statement announcing the end of the couple's marriage, telling E! -- "After much consideration, I have decided to end my marriage to Tom Girardi. This is not a step taken lightly or easily. I have great love and respect for Tom and for our years and the lives we built together."

She continued, "It is my absolute wish to proceed through this process with respect and with the privacy that both Tom and I deserved. I request others to give us that privacy as well."

Interestingly, Erika Girardi has just recently let fans in on some of her private life with her husband.

Just a few days ago, Erika appeared to still be very much with her husband and shared intimate details about the couple sleeping together. After a fan on Twitter questioned the reality star "How is Tom doing," she offered this update, "Currently snoring next to me."

As many fans of the show know, Tom is a major player in the celebrity lawyering business and spends countless hours at the law firm named after him. During the recent 'RHOBH' reunion, Andy Cohen questioned Erika about her now estranged husband, saying, "Where’s Tom Girardi right now?” She responded, "He's in the office where he is every day." Adding, "Well, when your name's on the front door...business doesn't stop."

True, but now he just added a new addition to his caseload -- his own divorce.

Erika Jayne Dishes On Her Sex Life With 80-Year-Old Husband

In the past, Erika hasn't been shy about letting fans of the reality show in on the intimate details of her marriage with Girardi. Including last season where she dished on the sex life with her husband.

The 'RHOBH' responded to questions about him to a co-star in on the April 22 episode, saying, "He's good. He is 80, which is unbelievable to think he's still up every day running his firm."

When pressed about the couple's sex life, she said, "It's OK. People always ask that. They're always [like] what's going on? Is it 20-year-old f--king all day long? No," she said.

But, added she wouldn't really like that either, saying, "Not really. We got bills to pay."

Well, at least the couple will save on the new upcoming legal bills....right?
