Former Danity Kane star Aubrey O’Day is once again causing controversy over the legitimacy of her social media photos after sharing her Cardi B-inspired Halloween costume. 36-year-old O’Day had put together a look based off Cardi and Megan Thee Stallion’s hit song, “WAP,” but fans were not buying the singer and model’s look. The questionable photos come on the heels of O’Day making headlines following paparazzi photos that emerged allegedly showing the star looking strikingly different to what she serves up on social media.
The questionable photos surfaced Sunday afternoon when 36-year-old O’Day posted multiple photos of her “WAP” Halloween outfit.
“? ????, ????????? ?????
????? ???? ? ????
??? ??? ?????
???? ???? ????-??? ???? ????!” O’Day captioned her sultry photos.
The reality star and model was seen wearing Cardi B’s look from the official “WAP” music video, where she’s clad in head-to-toe animal print with some strategic cutouts in the chest region.
O’Day even went all out with her hair, recreating Cardi B’s chainlink locks, however, fans weren’t buying the authenticity of the look for one second.
Aubrey O’Day’s followers were ruthless over her Halloween costume, taking to the comments with brutal reactions to her outfit.
“Who is this a photo of?” one person asked.
“Can anyone tell me the app to use to edit myself like this?” a second fan wrote.
“U did such a good job my home girl thinks u photoshopped ur face to Bardi’s body,” a third fan commented.
Someone else suggested that O’Day should “post the original” photo, but the star never followed up with any other pics.
Aubrey O’Day has drawn lots of criticism lately after many questioned the authenticity of her photos following paparazzi pics that were revealed of the star looking a bit disheveled. Back in August, O’Day was seen on a walk with her dogs while vacationing in Palm Springs and appeared to look vastly different than her social media photos taken around the same time.
The photos, published by Daily Mail appeared to show someone who barely resembled the public persona of Aubrey O’Day.
The response to the paparazzi photos caused O’Day to respond on social media by posting allegedly recent photos of herself in a swimsuit.
“It’s so fucking sick what people will do to a woman’s body for clickbait!” she captioned the swimsuit pics.
O’Day added, “And that my lawyer needed this photo to defend me against it. When is this industry going to stop abusing women’s bodies! (Sorry my place is a mess, I’m currently remodeling my glam room—but I’m sure it’ll be written that I’m a hoarder next!)”
