Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin 100% knew how to make Halloween a total tease. Simple, don’t dress up at all. The five-time Olympic medalist has been ranking a more personal celebration above the Halloween calendar date, with the Russian-born star’s “birthday week” outranking everything right now. Nastia, who turned 31 on October 30, has been cramming her Instagram with stunning birthday celebrations, with her 1 million followers now getting a fresh update. Nastia, who showed off her birthday donuts two days ago, is now showing off her birthday body. Check it out below.
Scroll for the bedroom snap, plus Nastia’s insane flexibility. The 2008 all-around Olympic champion, who made massive headlines this month for an anorexia clap-back, has been busy proving she eats like a horse. The blonde rung in her 31st birthday with a giant tray of sprinkle donuts, then proving the food isn’t just for posing by chowing down on a Shake Shack burger.
The tiny waist doesn’t seem to pack on the pounds for Nastia, though, who snapped herself for an ab-flaunting selfie less than 24 hours after swallowing that burger.
Keep scrolling for the yoga stretch. Nastia, who retired from professional gymnastics aged just 22 back in 2012, caught her cheese-grater abs and super-slim waist in selfie mode, seen in her stark-white bedroom and wearing an elegant, two-piece dress with a braless finish. Nastia, who stunned in all-white and wore her long blonde hair down, made sure fans saw her stylish interiors, something she’s been mentioning of late on IG after permanently moving back to Dallas, TX.
Far bigger than the birthday for media outlets, though, has been Nastia’s anorexia fireback.
Nastia did not appreciate being asked how she feels about “promoting borderline anorexia looking bodies” this month. The fan DM was reposted to the star’s Instagram as she posed in a skin-tight and scoop-neck bronze dress, with Nastia admitting she felt “triggered” and “pissed” by the comment.
“If taking pictures of my OWN body—a body that won me many olympics medals, a body that I push each day to get stronger, a body that God gave me—is inherently promoting anorexia, then honestly, we’ve gotten to a place in the world where just BEING is offensive. This is ME.”

Nastia is proving an open book since the clap-back, even giving fans a video tour of her pantry. Annie’s organic products rank highly for Liukin, but the star equally keeps her kitchen stocked with oreo cookies. Nastia also recently shared a blog post on her favorite Dallas, TX eateries, showing her love of Italian food and sushi, plus Mexican.
“As for a sweet treat with my coffee, The Salty Donut has quickly become an obsession. Try the horchata donut—just do it!” she wrote.
