Ryan Seacrest avoided a health blunder and now, he’s paying it forward. The 45-year-old “LIVE With Kelly and Ryan” host gifted several children around Los Angeles their own Halloween costumes ahead of the weekend. Helping kids from all different backgrounds get in the spooky spirit, the star took to his social media and showed their smiling faces while in costume.
Thankfully, Ryan Seacrest was able to celebrate Halloween with his co-star Kelly Ripa after missing work for two days while awaiting COVID-19 results.
As The Blast reported, the “American Idol” host was mysteriously absent from the morning show, leaving Kelly Ripa to fend for herself. The network kept quiet on the reasoning behind Seacrest’s disappearance but when he returned two days later, Ryan addressed what happened with fans.
“Thank you for covering, following the strict protocol,” he told Kelly Ripa on the Wednesday, October 21 episode. “Got the negative test results for COVID. Makes you feel very good.”

Days after Ryan Seacrest showed a clean bill of health, it was full throttle Halloween time with Kelly Ripa on “LIVE.” Now, he’s spreading the spirit to others. Taking to his Instagram on Saturday, October 31, Ryan Seacrest shared several shots of smiling kids in their costume which his production company, along with others, provided.
Turning Seacrest Studios into a Halloween mega-store, the photos show children shopping and picking out their own costumes for the reason. “All set for Fright Night,” Ryan Seacrest captioned the fun shots.
Proving it takes a village, the “LIVE” host continued, “Shout-out to @disguise.costumes for the donations and getting the kids in the Halloween spirit! #SeacrestStudios.” These weren’t any old costumes either. Kids got to choose if they wanted to be Harry Potter, Disney Princesses, Legos, Dracula, and MORE!
Ryan Seacrest is winning at Halloween this year, despite the ongoing global pandemic. “LIVE” fans lost it when the star transformed into a tiger, only to be tamed by Kelly Ripa as Joe Exotic aka Tiger King.
That wasn’t the only killer costume the TV duo had up their sleeves this year. They also delighted viewers when they channeled their inner “Schitt’s Creek.” Ryan Seacrest slapped on a shirt and a signature lightning bolt sweater to be the iconic character David Rose and Kelly Ripa took it one step further.
