Lake Bell Files For Divorce From Husband One Week After Split

It's over. Lake Bell has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Scott Campbell, after seven years of marriage. The Blast has learned that the "What Happens In Vegas" star filed a dissolution to end her marriage in a Los Angeles courthouse on Wednesday, October 28, just days after announcing they had decided to split.
The 41-year-old "Secret Life of Pets" actress and the celebrity tattoo artist said "I do" in 2013 after less than two years of dating.
Lake Bell and Scott Campbell share two children together -- daughter Nova, 6, and son Ozgood, 4. The "No Strings Attached" star shocked her fans when she revealed their relationship status on her social media last week, implying that divorce was inevitable for the former duo.
"After 9 years together, 7 years married, 2 sparkling children...Scott and I are ending our marriage but continuing our loving family," she wrote on October 22. Lake Bell made it clear they are planning to co-parent.

"With respect and thoughtful guidance, we will continue to be parental comrades in arms and best friends for all of our days," she added. Scott Campbell also addressed their breakup on social media, taking to his Instagram account and mirroring his famous ex's message.
"Now we find ourselves ending our marriage and transitioning the love and friendship we've always had into a new chapter. All the feelings are felt," the tattoo artist wrote, adding they will continue to put their kids first.

Continuing his heartfelt message, Scott Campbell added, "I have invincible confidence in us as parental warriors and as best friends for all our days." The former duo walked down the aisle in 2013 in front of family and friends at The Marigny Opera House in New Orleans.
No expense was spared at their wedding. According to PEOPLE, she said "I do" in a custom-designed Marchesa Couture gown while Scott Campbell dazzled in a Marc Jacobs tux. Scott's famous clients include Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Love.
