By Rebecca Cukier

Dove Cameron shimmying down a stripper pole in skimpy spandex and teeny tiny shorts proved just the ticket for her 37.9 million Instagram followers yesterday. The 24-year-old "Descendants" actress was proving she knows how to descend while keeping her heart rate up during a pole-dancing class – a studio might be where Dove burned her calories, but the former Disney star kept COVID-safe, seen in a face mask. Dove, who has admitted the laziest lock-down ever and sometimes being in bed til noon, proved she can workout when she wants to. Check it out below.

Quarantine Isn't 100% Lazy

Scroll for the video that's pretty mind-blowing – Dove was on tip-toe throughout, with her heels never touching the ground. The Emmy Award-winning actress, fresh from giving both her Byrdie quarantine Zoom interview and opening up to Rosie Inc. beauty, was seen working it and acing it.

The video showed Dove at the TANTRA Fitness studio in L.A. She was in only an olive-colored sports bra, small gray shorts, and with a gray sweatshirt wrapped around her waist, seen seductively grazing the pole as she shimmied downward.

Admits In Bed 'Til Noon

Keep scrolling for more photos. Dove's quarantine has been busy and, seemingly, not busy all at once. The actress and "We Belong" singer made headlines in the summer for a bikini-clad Utah road trip – even removing her bikini top to flash her mountains – with the travels making double headlines as fans worried for Dove's weight. Dove opened up about her anorexia battle in 2018 and is now recovered.

Way more homey has been Dove opening up to Byrdie on staying inside her four walls, having boyfriend Thomas Doherty making her smoothies, and admitting she can lounge around in bed – for a long time.

Her Self-Care 'Isn't Always Pretty'

Dove, also recently giving a Vogue beauty secrets tutorial showing her Vitamin E oil obsession – she smothers her flawless skin in it – told Byrdie that lock-down life is pretty much winging it when it comes to getting up.

"I would love to be one of those people that says 'I wake up every morning at 5 a.m. And then I stretch, and then I fill my belly with lemon water,'" she said, adding: "But I'm not. I wake up anywhere from 8 a.m. to noon. I'm really, really bad."

Instagrammable Life, Nah

Dove may drop jaws in her evening Oscar de la Renta dresses and while peeping her planters on Instagram, but the actress admitted she's isn't too into social media trends.

"I don't feel like it's self-care," she continued: "Because I've never been one of those people like... writing songs in my diary on my bed."

The songs are getting noticed, though, with "We Belong" all over the star's TikTok and showing off her beautiful vocals. Dove's most recent IG update, sitting at 1.8 million likes, showed the flawless body with Dove in a bralette, also managing to see her sandwiching sunlight rays.
