Kelly Dodd and Emily Simpson will be seen sitting down for a couple of drinks at Kelly’s new home in Newport Beach, California during next week’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”
In a sneak peek at the upcoming episode, Kelly and Emily reflect on the Bravo reality series’ previous episode, which featured Braunwyn Windham-Burke freaking out at Gina Kirschenheiter during a get-together at the home of Shannon Beador.
As fans witnessed, Braunwyn threw a glass after being called a “sloppy chihuahua” by Gina.
Emily Simpson Agrees With Kelly Dodd’s Sentiments Regarding Their ‘RHOC’ Co-Star
“I thought that was crazy. I think she’s better drunk. I think she over-exaggerates,” Kelly told Emily of Braunwyn’s behavior at the party.
“I said that today. I said [she’s better drunk],” Emily agreed. “I feel like at the part… I felt like everything she said, it was exaggerated. It was over-the-top. It was like the screaming, the crying, the running away, and then throwing the glass into the pool.”
Braunwyn confirmed she is nearly nine months sober after the premiere episode of “RHOC” season 15.
Emily Simpson Is Now More Compassionate Toward Braunwyn Windham-Burke
In a cast confessional in regard to Braunwyn’s recent behavior on the show, Emily said that when it comes to her treatment of her “RHOC” cast mate, she has become more understanding of Braunwyn now that she knows she is sober.
“Knowing Braunywn is an alcoholic, I feel slightly more compassionate towards her. But I feel like she uses her alcohol problem as a weapon back at Gina to make her feel guilty and that’s what I didn’t like,” she explained.
Kelly Dodd Shares Her Thoughts On COVID-19
Also, during the sneak peek clip, Kelly was seen speaking out about COVID-19, admitting that when it comes to the deadly virus, she isn’t too afraid and doesn’t understand why so many people are concerned.
“I don’t understand why people are freaking out about this coronavirus. It’s like the H1N1. It’s like the swine flu. Things like this happen from time to time,” she pointed out.
As fans of “RHOC” may have seen, Kelly was faced with backlash earlier this year after suggesting the coronavirus was “God’s way of thinning the herd.”
Kelly Dodd Apologized For Past Comments About COVID-19
Following her offensive statements about the coronavirus, Kelly offered an apology on social media, explaining that she didn’t intend to upset anyone.
She was also forced to issue an apology earlier this month after being seen in an offensive “Drunk Wives Matter” hat during a weekend bridal shower.
To see more of Kelly, Emily, Braunwyn, and their cast mates, don’t miss new episodes of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” season 15, which air on Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
