Draya Michele ate a massive plate of spaghetti and grilled salmon on Wednesday, but just hours later, the 35-year-old was claiming her waist is “gone.” The “Basketball Wives LA” alum and Mint Swim founder’s evening stories yesterday showed the secret to her jaw-dropping bikini body – Draya may drip sweat with celebrity trainer MackFit, but the reality star has something else up her sleeve. Aggressive “wood therapy” rubbing was shown on her Instagram last night, with the result seemingly showing Draya proud. Check it out below.
Scroll for the video. Draya’s 8.1 million followers were seeing her slip out of her swimwear designer shoes and into her influencer ones. Footage, kicking off with Draya on a spa treatment bed and on her front, showed the mom of two in the skimpiest, tiniest, G-string bikini, with a therapist hard at work – rub, rub rub, as a rolling pin-style tool was used all over the star’s body.
“The wood breaks down the fat and it drains thru your lympathic system (pee),” Draya wrote, then gearing up for “After the wood and before the ice.”
Keep scrolling for more photos. Draya made headlines in July for bravely revealing her weight on Instagram as she promoted the Vanity Planet Body Analyzer scale. The 5’5” star confessed to being a “little heavier” than normal, with the scale reading showing 128 pounds – Draya admitted that “that time of the month” causes water retention for her.
Draya was 55% water and 6% bone – “about right,” she joked. The jokes, overall, have been a major headline-maker for Michele, though, with the summer seeing her lose a high-profile gig for opening her fat mouth.
Draya may still be influencing for brands including Fashion Nova, with which she holds a partner status, but the star appears to have lost her likely-lucrative gig promoting 32-year-old Rihanna’s SavagexFenty line. Speaking on the “Wine and Weed” podcast about “WAP” rapper Megan Thee Stallion getting shot in the feet this summer, Draya dropped a joke that wasn’t well-received, drawing a Bobby and Whitney comparison:
“I’m here for it. I like that. I want you to like me so much you shoot me in the foot, too.”
Draya, swiftly unfollowed by SavagexFenty and seeing all promo photos of her wiped from the brand’s Instagram, has not been wallowing since the scandal. The star is gearing up for her 10-part “Doses of Draya” docuseries, she’s teased a jewelry collection, and she’s snagged herself NFL player boyfriend Tyrod Taylor. The Oh Polly collaborator is also fresh from celebrating 10 years of Mint Swim, a brand she founded with $12,000, only watching it to be valued at $1 million in 2017.
