“Ew, David! Ryan Seacrest delighted fans when he channeled his inner David Rose for a “Schitt’s Creek” Halloween-themed costume. The 45-year-old “LIVE With Kelly and Ryan” talk show host surprised viewers when he debuted the look, which included the spot-on wardrobe.
Giving a glimpse of the killer costume, Ryan Seacrest took to his social media to drop this year’s award-winning appearance. He’s clearly in the Halloween spirit just days after returning to the show following a two-day absence that left viewers wondering about his health.
As The Blast reported, Ryan Seacrest missed Monday and Tuesday of work last week, leaving Kelly Ripa to handle hosting duties all by herself. The network kept quiet on the reasoning for his absence which caused many conspiracy theorists to wonder if he had COVID-19. When he returned on Wednesday, October 21, Ryan Seacrest addressed his days off and put the rumors to bed.
“Thank you for covering, following the strict protocol,” he told Kelly Ripa. “Got the negative test results for COVID. Makes you feel very good.”

It appears that Ryan Seacrest isn’t listening to doubters because he’s back on the stage just in time for their countdown to Halloween. In his big costume debut, the star is seen in David Rose’s traditional garb, of course, it’s all black. Wearing a chunky knit sweater with a lightning bolt on the front, Ryan Seacrest oozed confidence while sporting both pants and a skirt.
The “LIVE” host channeled the iconic TV character perfectly down to his fashion-forward wardrobe, including his winter white sunglasses.
As The Blast reported, “LIVE” viewers gave mixed reviews on Ryan Seacrest’s appearance when he was seen backstage dressed in all burgundy. Wearing a wine-colored sweater with stripes and matching pants, the star commented about his weight while joking that he was “sucking it in.”
His fans grew increasingly alarmed and advice the TV personality to slow down and “rest.” Besides “LIVE With Kelly and Ryan,” Ryan Seacrest juggles his hit radio show AND hosting “American Idol,” among several other jobs.
