By Whitney Vasquez

Ryan Seacrest is back in action and the poster boy of health after missing two days of work last week while awaiting his negative COVID-19 tests. The 45-year-old "LIVE With Kelly and Ryan" host return to the show on Wednesday, October 21, after several conspiracy theorists went wild when the network kept the reasoning for his absence under wraps.

When Ryan Seacrest appeared alongside Kelly Ripa for the first time all week, he addressed his fans and discussed the show's strict COVID policy.

"Thank you for covering, following the strict protocol,” he told Kelly Ripa. “Got the negative test results for COVID. Makes you feel very good.” Kelly Ripa then addressed Seacrest and made it clear that she “didn’t have any doubts” about her co-host's condition.

Despite hosting "LIVE" solo, Kelly Ripa killed it but fans were happy to see Ryan Seacrest back in his co-host chair. On Tuesday, almost one week since his show return, he appeared as the bill of health.

Looking Trim & Healthy!

In a video, posted to the morning show's Instagram account, Ryan Seacrest looks fit and trim backstage ahead of "LIVE." He was also cracking jokes with the barista about the show's executive producer Michael Gelman getting special treatment with his breakfast.

Wearing a burgundy striped sweater with matching colored pants, the "American Idol" host walked in front of Kelly Ripa while holding his stomach and joked, "Sucking in!" Smiling big, Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa threw out some funny jabs prior to walking out on stage.

That's a change from earlier this week when the TV duo had a marriage-sized squabble backstage with Kelly Ripa critiquing Ryan Seacrest on his listening skills. The star seems to be happy about his reunion with his "LIVE" co-star and even took to social media to show himself getting into the Halloween spirit.

On Tuesday's show, Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa are getting their crafts on and carving pumpkins but it seems they are turning the tradition into a tough competition.

"We're going to learn how to pumpkin carve," Ryan Seacrest said on video while already producing an impressive looking pumpkin. "We actually have a pro but I'm trying to pick up the skill myself." He's been having fun back on the set ever since his return last week and usually, it's at Kelly Ripa's expense.

On Monday's show, Ryan Seacrest presented his co-host with a hilarious belated birthday gift -- gagging her with a rubber hen bag that cost him just $50!
