Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin's massive thigh gap has to be seen to be believed. The 30-year-old 5-time Olympic medalist's weekend Instagram stories showed off the figure behind the glittering career, but it offered something else – Nastia, followed by 1 million, admitted that temperatures in her Dallas, TX location are "awkward" right now, although the fashionista's look of the day was flawless as usual. Nastia, majorly in the news of late for an anorexia comment clap-back kept her recent drama out of her garage moment today. Check it out, plus the anorexia storm below.

Scroll for the photo. Nastia, who last week saw a fan DM'ing her and asking how she feels about "promoting borderline anorexic looking bodies" has fired back, but the remark hasn't stopped the Moscow-born star from showing off her lithe frame.

Sunday brought Nastia back in selfie mode and by her shiny white car. The 2008 all-around Olympic champion, flaunting her massive thigh gap in skintight blue jeans, a beige crop top, and a deconstructed chunky open jacket, was showcasing her silhouette, but the accompanying text was about the weather.

Nastia, hiding her face and also wearing trendy ankle boots matching her jacket and crop top, wrote:

"That awkward temperature where you don't know how to dress, so a crop top and puffer coat seems appropriate?"

If you don't live inside Nastia's Instagram, the crop tops rank highly, but comments suggesting the gymnast is promoting unhealthy bodies do not. Nastia, admitting she was both "triggered" and "p-ssed" by the fan DM, now sees media outlets covering her fire response. Check it out below.

On October 16, Nastia dropped her bombshell reply. Posting in selfie mode and wearing a skintight, bronze, and scoop-neck dress, the former athlete wrote:

"If taking pictures of my OWN body—a body that won me many olympics medals, a body that I push each day to get stronger, a body that God gave me—is inherently promoting anorexia, then honestly, we’ve gotten to a place in the world where just BEING is offensive. This is ME."

And that wasn't all, with Nastia bravely admitting that, yes, she's on the skinny side.

Nastia, who told The Cut in 2016 that her gymnast mom had raised her to "have a cookie" if she wants one, added:

"This is my body. While I’ve always been thin, I’ve not always been strong. I’m proud to say that I am truly stronger now than I’ve ever been. I’m sorry if my body is triggering to you. I don’t believe that I should have to cover it up for fear of being offensive."

Nastia has since showcased her beautifully-organized pantry complete with jars of nuts, an oreos stash, plus healthy organic Annie's products.
