Bethenny Frankel is clearing the air and setting things straight about the status of her relationship with her fiancé Paul Bernon.
The reality stay recently sparked rumors of a split after she was spotted without her engagement ring.
Bethenny Frankel Is Still Engaged!
Shortly after the news broke, Frankel took to her Instagram story to straighten the record. Dressed in an oversized black turtleneck sweater, the socialite revealed that all was well with her and Bernon.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” star first slammed the claims of a breakup saying. “I didn’t have to address rumors, but rumors hurt and affect other people as does irresponsible press.”
Frankel described her fiancé as a “wonderful man” and recalled how the news of their engagement first broke out without their permission. “I was swimming and had my ring in and then it came out we were engaged, because we didn’t make an announcement.”
Now, it seems the media is at again. Explaining why she didn’t have a ring on, Frankel said:
"We are engaged. I don’t always wear my ring. I don’t have to always wear my ring. Sometimes I don’t feel it’s safe. Sometimes my fingers swell or contract. But I’m doing me."
The 51-year-old noted that she believes relationships are about commitment, not about “announcements, pomp and circumstance, and jewelry.” She ended her statement with a PSA, “And if I decide to wear an engagement toe ring, then so be it.”
A Jingle Lady Without Her Ring
As The Blast reported earlier, the speculations began after Frankel was spotted without her massive ring in an Instagram post.
The reality star posed in front of a huge Christmas tree while donning a sweater that read “all my jingle ladies.”
The post was accompanied by a cryptic caption that read, “shoutout to all my jingle ladies who can put their own ring on it.”
It didn’t take long for fans to spiral down the rabbit hole with several theories about the status of Frankel and Bernon, suggesting they were calling it quits.
Frankel And Bernon’s Love Story
Frankel, who was previously married to Jason Hoppy for 11 years, began dating Bernon in the fall of 2018 after they met on a dating app.

The lovebirds dated for three years, with Bernon waiting until her divorce from Hoppy was finalized before popping the big question.
The wonderful proposal went down in February during the couple’s vacation to Florida, with Frankel describing it as “simple and beautiful.”
The duo hasn’t shared details about their upcoming nuptials, but they seem to be enjoying the current phase of their relationship.
