"Real Housewives of Orange County" star Braunwyn Windham-Burke is no longer living in the same space as her husband Sean.

The reality star spoke to Us Weekly about the recent changes to her marriage. She revealed the two are living in separate homes at the moment.

She added, “Love him dearly. We haven’t gotten along this well in a long time. We’re redefining what marriage means to us. We’re not following the old, antiquated rules anymore.”

In the past, the two have been open about having threesomes and not playing by the stereotypical relationship rules. Braunwyn said she has not been dating any other men at this time.

However, she did reveal she is seeing someone special at the moment, who isn't her husband of two decades. She didn't reveal the identity of the person but spilled out her heart.

She said, “There’s someone in my life right now that makes me happy and I smile just thinking about, but I kinda want to protect it right now,"

She added, "I’m not quite ready to put it all out there, everyone in my life that knows me knows what’s happening. I don’t think I’ve smiled so much. It’s good. I know if you look at social media, it seems really like crazy, but things are really good in our house right now.

Rumors first started being spread about possible marital problems when Braunwyn promoted a Zoom seminar that focused on co-parenting and divorce.

The "Real Housewives of Orange County" star was quick to shut down the divorce talk. She said, “I’m not going to worry about the future until it happens. I love Sean. Sean loves me. We have every intention of staying together."

She continued, "We are very honest in our communication. There are just some things that I have discovered about myself that I wanna explore a little more and he’s very supportive."

She ended, "He understands and, you know, I am living a very authentic life right now and I’ve never given myself permission to do that. … I’m 42 and there are just parts of me that … I pushed down and now I’m allowing myself to live authentically.”

The reality star explained to fans, “There’s just a lot of stuff going on in our lives and it’s better for us to not live in the same house right now,” she said. “And to give you some space, we’re both working ourselves, we’re both in therapy. I want to be the best version of myself, so does he, we have been together 26 years. We’re not throwing that away. You know, we are family. He’s my best friend.”

Aside from her marriage situation, Braunwyn recently celebrated being 9 months sober from alcohol. Her struggle with drinking is a storyline on this season of "RHOC."

She announced the news on Instagram. She wrote to her fans, "258 days, one day at a time. Thank you to everyone that helped me on my journey so far, @captainsandrayawn for giving me the courage to tell my story, to @evolutionusa for your unwavering support and @tpkelly12 for telling this story as real and honestly as we could. When we started this season I was 12 days sober, we document the good and the bad, the highs and the lows, the unfiltered reality. 9 months ago my life was unmanageable, but today I’m happier then I’ve ever been, living life honestly on life’s terms."
